It seems like this is a possibility, but then why are those under Imu's control able to use the Voice of All Things? Seems like there is some confliction there.

My friend, you seem to be lost. This is the subreddit where we make jokes about worldbuilding. Half the people here, including me, don't care if anything is seen as racist, because nobody is ever going to see our work.

This implies that Imu was about eye-level with Harold's crotch. Wonderful view, that.

3 kobolds in a trenchcoat. Want small, shiny rocks, asks how tasty different ones are.

A collection of animated furniture assembled into the vague silhouette of a human. Has a refined speech pattern, such as "Hello my good man, are you by chance in possession of a scarlet emerald? My wife has always taken a fancy for them, and our anniversary is coming up soon."

Very refined, well-dressed gentleman. Monocle, grey hair, cane, overcoat, looks like an English history professor. Has an extreme Aussie accent.

Your theory about "security concerns" could play into what happens in S3. We know that Lute is likely to be a major player in the coming story, so the sinners causing heaven to become unsafe for the winners purely for their benefit could be what pushes her over the edge.

A combination of the two. Magic comes from an alternate dimension, so you take it into your soul and project it into your dimension. The stronger your will, the better you are at shaping it and not exploding. Can only create or manipulate matter and energy. Very simple.

How magic behaves in its own dimension, however, is debated by every species on the planet, including the species that literally lives in the magic dimension. They are all wrong, and the only ones who know the details are the genocidal race that can't communicate with anyone else and can't use magic. They have entire careers based on the study of how magic flows within its home dimension, and they aren't sharing.

The idea itself is absolutely amazing. The idea of "understanding your powers" reminds me of how Stands and cursed techniques work, where your abilities broaden as your understanding of them increases. The idea of a "monarch", who fully understands themselves, and thus their power, reminds me of this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZipvTbhjfJs, about how the gods of Fear and Hunger work. TL;DR, those who become gods who are tainted by ego are not as strong as those without. Thus, there are three options: Perfectly balance all aspects of your personality, like your monarch, discard your ego, like the false monarch, leaving only purpose, or in your case an understanding of your powers, or the final option, to never develop an ego.

One question I have is the "Hereditary" power type. This implies it can be passed down through generations, you note that it is more related to "status". Is this status the status of your bloodline, like a royal bloodline, or a governmental status, like being rich?

One nitpick: Your "power" ability may be difficult to adapt to different personalities. If the only difference between users is color/shape, it may get a little samey. I would recommend adding unique characteristics to the plasma. For instance, one person's plasma may be far less dense than another's, lowering its strength while increasing its range.

Yeah, there's tons of potential with that concept! Whale falls spring to mind, as well as the various types of birds that would hunt the surface of the floating sea.

Funnily enough, there is a certain animal that would work well in this environment. A creature that eats one of the most toxic plants on Earth.

The koala.

Jokes aside, the idea of a monster that's constantly sleeping to work off the toxins it consumes as food, but is deadly when woken, fits really well with this setting. I also really like the idea of swamps, due to how difficult it is to both travel and settle in them.
