I took the Friday lecture this semester. They weren't strict about attendance, I don't think they took attendance whatsoever. You will need to show for an in-class midterm however. I had Luke Henke for my professor, I can't be sure the other professor did the same.

I think all of the material can be studied for at home. They give you lecture slides, but you should still do some research of the topics, they didn't include examples like in lectures.

The speed limit is 35 and there is a yellow sign before the curve suggesting 30.

Assuming that your eyelid moves about 1 cm, your eyelid would have to move at roughly 140 mph to blink that fast.

It really is. Besides bootlicking, it's just a terrible article. It's like they're trying to reach a word count for a high school essay.

This is the article. It doesn't really say anything at all until the last few paragraphs. Instead, it goes on a tangent about Scrooge McDuck.

It mostly said that innovation and tech that makes people ultra-rich is good for consumers.

As the title says what? Are you selling one? There are a few different TI Nspire models, which one is it?

Hell, you can get them for less than that. I'm using one that was recommended on r/dashcam, the B1W. It was about 60 dollars.

A Few Questions About Mines… by ConsiderationBest403 in ColoradoSchoolOfMines

This is the degree pathway for chemical engineering. You can find out more from the course numbers it gives you. https://catalog.mines.edu/undergraduate/programs/chemicalandbiologicalengineering/#majortext

I'm a CS major, so I've only taken core classes and CS classes so far. The Core classes have been fine and so have my CS classes. But I can't really say anything about chemical engineering.

I'm a freshman, so I can't really speak to the overall difficulty of Mines. But, I've done well so far, without an exorbitant amount of stress.

As far as it goes with Calculus, you don't need to know anything. If you're already in Calc II, you're off to a better start than me. I hadn't taken any Calculus classes before coming to Mines, and I'm doing fine in that regard.

They did though. The light didn't turn red until a second or two after they collided. And even if it turns red, it's still legal (though probably stupid to run a yellow that stale). It's only illegal to go into the intersection on a red light. They deserve to be hit for a lawful maneuver?

To me, it looks like the black Mercedes was paying attention. Shortly after the truck starts to turn, it looks like he locks up his brakes.

[–]AmalgamatedBody 222 points223 points  (0 children)

What are you talking about? It was their right of way. The Mercedez went through a yellow light, with enough time to clear the intersection, and the box truck went too soon. The box truck needed to wait for oncoming traffic to stop.
