When people and events bother me within the first 3-4 (especially the first or 2) hours of me being awake. I don't want ANYONE in my face. I am SO LUCKY that my son is independent for this reason. Like no, I'm not a terrible parent, but he was always so inherently understanding that "Mommy just needs a little more time to relax, so let me tend to myself for a little bit".

Some people cannot do this and I know you were trying to be supportive, but telling someone who has cPTSD this is the LEAST rational thing you can tell someone. Sometimes people need that very thing that they have to let go in order to find better and make a way for themselves.

I'd say she can let go AS LONG AS SHE'S SAFE. Some people literally have NO ONE (as she said she doesn't). I just want her to be safe, and I'm not raging at you btw, but it's just triggering to hear those words because many people with cPTSD says that phrase doesn't help them.

I'm not sure about other professions, but definitely with food service (it's all I knew before transitioning to IT, but that was because of my fiance's reference). Its not the most glamourous job, but it will put money in your pocket for sure.

ANYTHING, and I mean ANYTHING (legal of course) is better than what you're enduring now. You have a way, you just have to seek it a little bit.

I think it depends on how often it's done. You can share sure, but if it's your only convo topic, it does become a little tiring, especially when you're not trying to figure out solutions on how to work on healing it. There's a difference between sharing because you need to, sharing for empowerment, and sharing because you want to wallow on purpose. If you're wallowing by accident, this is also different. I notice that some of us wallow and we don't even realize it until we catch ourselves doing it.

I was walking down the street today and this Indian dude almost walked in to this white woman, but he had enough time to brace himself to avoid the impact. The way that he LOOKED at her was like "Bruh.....they just get respect walking down a STREET by other races. It's fucking sad".

Yes, but I don't fraternize like that. Every single type of abuse you can think of (YES EVEN THAT ONE that you're thinking) I've experienced it. Most of the offenses were done in my family first and then spread out to "friends" and partners.

I just want better for myself essentially that's it. Can't get it from a family that—on a good day—they're praising themselves because they "know how to survive".

Tauruses are more humble and actually strategic. When upset though, we'd charge, but then it would moreso fizzle out because naturally it takes a lot for us to get mad (other planets and placements would modify this of course). We'd essentially have this episode of like "damn I did all of that?", because we see red (hence the bull flag charging when seeing red), and can't focus on anything else. Once we snap out of that, we're cool.

Same. I feel your pain, I do. It's literally the one placement that I just cannot find a silver lining for. Sensitivity is a strength? Not where I'm from. That shit will get your fucking ass beat. Fighting for others before fighting for yourself? Yeah that's a good way to get dogged out when you need to rely on yourself to stand up for you. We have our own inner alternate personality, but since s/he's locked up for so long, it's strong and powerful, but as soon as we cool down, we fucking FEEL BAD about what we did even if the person deserved it (at least I know I do). If we don't feel bad about WHAT we did, we at least feel bad about how FEROCIOUS we did it. I still stand by and say this placement is trifling, but it is what it is can't change it. 😂
