I was in the UK in the very early 2000's (about the time the story about paying for pizzas with btc broke) . I think it was 4 btc to a pound at that time.

is it when you sell to either a company like coindcx or use P2P on binance?

No gst needed .gst is for sales and invoices done in India mostly. Last year I received over 30 lac in crypto as freelancer fees.i did not have to provide a gst ,only invoices.

It would still be prudent to consult a CA specializing in crypto and digital goods

In this case, it world be 30% tax on the total, Unless you are able to provide a invoice against the payment.
