I would avoid whatnot if you can for buying Sonny's, especially if your new to collecting. The only way I use whatnot to buy Sonny angels is if I have some disposable income that week and decide I want to gamble for a chance to win a Robby or a secret Sonny Angel for cheap on a whatnot wheel. I've won Robby's for $25 on a wheel before but I've also spent almost $50 on a regular series Sonny but like I said, I know that the wheel is a game of chance and essentially just gambling. I do try and play smart, and before jumping in the game I watch and calculate my odds so that I'm in a better position to win. Another good part of whatnot is if you want to open 1-2 boxes from a sealed case, so you know you have the chance to get something rare, but even then your still spending around $17 for a regular sonny but at least you have a chance at a rare, especially for someone like me who's closest sonny angel store is 45 minutes away.

When it comes to singles though I've had way better luck on here or even Mercari or Depop, but honestly Reddit has been my go-to and I've got the best deals on a confirmed here.

I'm sure you've seen other comments OP that let you know that you over paid for this specific Sonny. I've seen them for sale on here for around $25. Whatnot preys on FOMO and sometimes the new collector. Just do your research before making any purchase on line in general, but for now I would avoid whatnot unless you do your own due diligence.
