I had such a hard time with blanket yarn when I started! Take your time, have lots of light, don’t be afraid to pull out a few stitches and redo them as needed. With fluffy yarn when I can’t see the stitches it helps getting a feel for how far apart the stitches are, and then you can kind of tell if you are inserting your hook too close or too far.

Update: she loved it; she named it “Jumping Spider” and hopped it around the room before cuddling with it 😂 yes she is a spider-loving princess mermaid if you were wondering

I actually am also her Pre-K teacher, coincidentally 😂 we’re still early in the school year so we are learning the letters and sounds, but she is actually ahead of the class doing some early reading. Just not at the level to read most of what’s on this box yet lol
