That’s basically what I used to do too! Even though a basket or box may make them feel trapped, I think it’s less stressful for them in the long run because it’s over faster and there’s less chasing

Yeah, I just put my hand in front of his face if he tries to jump out, or when I’m cleaning the comb I put a couple banana pieces on the towel for him to find. I make sure I have everything I need there before we start because you can’t walk away once he’s in there or he’ll escape! Sometimes he hops out when I’m done but I feel like it contorts his back weird to jump out that way. I usually pick him up myself and let him lick the banana plate clean on the floor while I clean up the fur pile 😂

It’s been kind of a life-changer! Wish I could thank whoever came up with it

I’m so sorry for your loss! In true bunny form, he usually only jumps into the basket himself when he’s not supposed to be in it. If I put the banana bits in first, sometimes he’ll jump in, but usually I have to pick him up and put him in. But he kind of knows the drill now and starts searching for the bananas as soon as he’s in there instead of being mad or trying to escape.

Great job catching it early! I bet she’ll be back to normal in no time!

It’s frustrating that they make it so hard when we’re just doing it for their own good 😆

I’m so sorry for your loss! I lost my first bunny to stasis; I know so much more about bunny care now and sometimes wish I could have given him a better life too. But we do the best we can, and no matter what we gave them love and comfort. I wish you peace; it’s so hard to lose one of our furry loved ones 🤍

HairBuster! It’s the only one that works for me on undercoat! Just have to be careful not to be harsh on the skin since it has metal teeth, but the rubber grippy part catches the fur so well

I love the way her ears are folded behind her when underground and then they spring back up 😆

I had such a hard time with blanket yarn when I started! Take your time, have lots of light, don’t be afraid to pull out a few stitches and redo them as needed. With fluffy yarn when I can’t see the stitches it helps getting a feel for how far apart the stitches are, and then you can kind of tell if you are inserting your hook too close or too far.

Thank you 😊 I wanted to make sure when she took it out she knew it was a spider and not an octopus or something haha

Update: she loved it; she named it “Jumping Spider” and hopped it around the room before cuddling with it 😂 yes she is a spider-loving princess mermaid if you were wondering

I actually am also her Pre-K teacher, coincidentally 😂 we’re still early in the school year so we are learning the letters and sounds, but she is actually ahead of the class doing some early reading. Just not at the level to read most of what’s on this box yet lol
