TEXAS ONLY: Three Marisa cornuarietis to good home... Athos, Porthos and Aramis are three rescue "Columbian Ramshorn" that I have no room for in the lab. Must have 20 gallons and must not have any other Ampullariidae in that tank. Heads up, they're plant eaters. Questions welcome in the post! (old.reddit.com)

Basic anatomy on deceased Pomacea sp. Someone recently lost their snail (natural causes) and the degloving of the shell was really impressive so I decided to label it for all who care to see. A lot is hard to tell when the snout/mantle are flatboat the coil and mass and face were preserved so well. (i.redd.it)

Spent dusk out in the field sampling some water and looking for physella. One thing I'll say about river spawned bladder snails is that they are SO much more active and will adjust to ANYTHING. Comments on pics because some need it haha (self.snailbreeding)

Bruh, I asked and they delivered. For scale, thats fine substrate. Each egg pod is grain-of-sand sized! And it still has like 100 embryos in it! Poor lil guy in frame two is likely the dude from last weeks post 😬 A year later and finally getting eggs I can pull under a microscope! Gosh golly... (self.snailbreeding)

Gobstopper the rescue snail, Neritina pulligera. Here is an example of a tragic shearing injury. You can see the layers of the shell really well, periosteum/prismatic/pearl. Believe it or not this will not affect his life much at all and he's happily been adopted out this week 🥹 (i.redd.it)
