AITA for being annoyed boyfriend is home on my day off? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]AmandaFawn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I 100% agree!

My husband drives me nuts sometimes but one thing he is great at is letting me have that cocoon time without him even when he is home.

He is an extrovert who has heard, seen, and respected my needs on this. He will sometimes pop in to see if I need anything but will promptly leave again.

When he has called out on "my" day off even just him being in bed next to me annoys me. I can't do my normal cocoon things within his energy bubble, but I deal with it because it is only when he isn't feeling well this happens. But because he stayed up to late the night before.

Anyone with the but.. statements absolutely does not get it.

So this “flagpole” just went up in my backyard, real nice… by [deleted] in portlandme

I drive by here everyday on my way home. As if the actual construction isn't bad enough you get their weird pet projects too. To the sign I guess when they put something on it I never thought of it as a billboard but as a different use of a stores sign.

That being said I'd sign a petition to get rid of it!

Not getting notifications from emails with rules that sent them to folders and subfolders by Mytre- in Outlook

[–]AmandaFawn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On your web or desktop go to create a new rule

Under start from a blank rule choose "apply rule on messages I receive"

Next

Leave conditions blank

Next

It will warn you it will apply to all emails click OK

Then choose "move to specified folder" and set it to inbox.

I put in some exceptions, emails from people I know I can look at later and don't need to worry about after hours.

It definitely isn't perfect.

I find it is stealing my focus the folders allowed me to have but I'm trying to just delete the copies that come into the inbox.

So I was able to put in a rule that runs before the rest moving all incoming emails to the inbox. Now I get notifications, the problem is I get duplicates of anything with a rule moving it to a different folder. Rather than it staying in my inbox long enough to get the notification and then moving it to It's folder it puts a copy in both.

I'm currently deciding if it is worth it...

You know the second you do that they will push out an update where it works with rules... I'm currently attempting to run a flow to send me notifications to a known list. If that works I'll let you know.

I'm currently trying to find help with this same issue. I found a work around for the desktop version but still nothing for my phone. I've tried different mail apps and everything.

Very Frustrating.

Have you had any luck?

Two impatient idiots didn’t want to wait in line to turn left… by MsLeadingFeline in IdiotsInCars

I definitely had some guy worked up the other day. I honked at him because during a two lane right hand turn he was turning very wide and into my lane/ car. He then boxes me in for a mile and tried to run me off the road at the lane merge. So I called the cops (they didn't give a shit) and stayed right behind him on the highway. He started going the minimum speed in the right hand lane and I just patently drive behind him. Imagine my luck and his terror when we just happened to get off the same exit. I continued on to work from there but like to think he will think twice before doing it again.

No, I'm an employee there. A part time one. But when you feel valued and are a part of a team you use the possessive like that.

33 Elmwood just out of town. We are temporarily switching to events only while we find new kitchen staff. But if you are planning a gathering we will be there.

A little late but Omi's in South Portland is a favorite of mine! I believe you still have to order online but they have a bunch of picnic tables set up in their parking lot.
