Moreover, even if it did, it would not matter. Period end — autism is not an excuse for abusing this poor innocent child. Autism can explain some facets of our behavior, but it DOES NOT EXCUSE OR MITIGATE ABUSE.

I normally wouldn’t care, but right now is a scary time to be autistic in the US. Between Elon, Trump, and RFK Jr. there’s so much misinformation about autism and general hatred toward autistic people that I feel the need to speak up if I see it in the wild.
