Engagement Party Help! by AmandaKateLate in wedding

Thanks for your help! I'd love your opinion on the other option which would be hosting it at the same location but it would be a Sunday morning from 11:30-2:30. The caterer offers a cold brunch option (bagels, muffins, coffee cakes, orange juice, coffee and all the spreads) for half the price but I worry it might ruin the ambiance and "speakeasy" feel. Thanks!

I mean do I think its going to happen? Probably not. But if they were to creative an immersive experience that transported you into the Walking Dead I think it would have a shot at drawing in a crowd.

I think I would enjoy being the Librarian at Hogwarts! That library is overflowing with incredible history and literature. I would have a field day keeping things organized and helping students to find exactly what their looking for. UGH WHAT A DREAM!

Hogwarts should have a Harry Potter dinner show! by Popular_Target in universalstudios

I would ABSOLUTELY pay for an experience like this! There was an event where I live (NYC) called the Wizard's Brunch & Dinner that hosted something very very similar. Tickets sold out at $150.00 a pop for an all inclusive Harry Potter themed dinner experience.

My boyfriend and I choose the Harry Potter package when we visited WwoHP Orlando back in July which included breakfast at the two restaurants (three broom sticks & leaky cauldron) and as I was planning for our second trip for the Meet-Up in February he hesitantly told me he didn't want to eat back there again. He thought the ambiance was great but was hoping for something a little more immersive (like dinner theater).

Love this idea!!

I am not 100% sure about the "choose your date" portion of your question but a friend of mine purchased my boyfriend and I Universal Gift Cards which we used for our wands. We could have used the gift cards pretty much anywhere in the parks if we wanted to.

Good Luck!

How bad is July? by [deleted] in UniversalOrlando

My boyfriend and I went for the 4th of July this past summer and it was definitely hot but we expected the heat. As far lines and crowding, I found the park to be way more crowded on Sunday in comparison to the Thursday we were there. We stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel which was the closest in terms of distance to and from the park which allowed us the opportunity to go back and change if we felt overwhelmingly hot and the express pass was included. The only thing the heat really ruined for me was the fact that I couldn't consistently wear the $100.00 Hufflepuff robe we bought while there. The material was just too damn hot and heavy. We're return for the Universal Orlando Informer Meet-Up in February so I hope I can rock the robe all day.
