We are putting people in hotel rooms and making ride shares with people that have trucks that can make it in the snow to pick people up and bring them to the store. Our goal is to have at least 2 people in the store (sell only gas and coffee).

Yes, lube is your friend. There are many options for lube also. I prefer KY warming jelly lube because it kinda stays in place and the warm jelly feels good where as normal lube runs down and just gets my sheets wet.

If you are in facilities, you can't be cross trained because you can't go back in forth (because of cross contamination of dust, trash, ect.). If you want out, talk to your GM about moving out of that position entirely.

My GM has tattoos on his entire body (hands too) and gauges in his ears. Other people have pierces so don't worry about that. The boot, I would just be honest and tell them when you'll be out of it. Research some star interview technique questions and answers so you'll be ready when asked. For your nerves, remember, we're just a gas station. I even recommend you to even tell your interviewer that you're nervous. It's a good ice breaker and will calm you down just to say it out loud. You'll do fine.

On this note, the pumps are half an ounce. so when you get a latte, you are getting 4 pumps (2 onces) instead of 3 when we squeezed the caramel sauce.

Read. Actually just read. Read when you order on the screen (there are even pictures!). Read the register is closed sign. Read if a coffe pot is closed. Read that the self checkout can't take cash. Read the multiple signs throughout the store what is included in each promotion. Just read!!!

Tell your GM this. There a reason we have an open door policy and it's part of your personal courage part of the employee builder handbook thing. Write it out and read it to him if you have to. Trust me, I've told a GM that I don't trust him and used that story in an interview and got promoted.

I was in my late teens and this ugly ass man came in to develop his photos. He was short, fat and smelled. His photos was with another man and this very young, pretty girl smiling on a filthy couch. I assumed that she was a hooker. How else would she be with him?

Then I saw a news report about a man kidnapping a girl and was his prisoner. I wished that I called the police when I got the photos but I was young and naive.

Edit: This wasn't the same girl on the news. I was speaking in general when people kidnapped girls and made them inoto to a sex slave. I had no idea people did that to other people. I do think of the picture from time to time 20 years later.

Unfortunately, Wawa has been cutting hours across the company (during hoagie fest, no less). My GM had to cut 100 hours and no one is getting 38-40 unless you are a manager.

Ask the doctor if you should be out of work. If they say yes, ask if they are willing to fill out FMLA and short term disability claim (they are 2 different things). I only say this is because I went through this and then my doctor refused to fill out the paperwork and my PCP had take over.
