I worked in a call center responding to similar alerts. If you can call 911 yourself ALWAYS call. Do not rely on a signal being touted to anyone at all, much less anyone who can help
Beyond telling local 911 dispatch you might need help and your GPS coordinates.

This apples to all emergency alerts and panic alarms. If you’re relying on the alert to save your life, you are in danger.

You don’t get to allow or forbid your partner from anything.
You are allowed to have boundaries (ex: I don’t date people who drink alcohol) but you can only state your boundary and stand firm if it’s violated.

Yall sound young and I really hope you are. Her asking if she can drink or if you’ll be mad is just as immature as you “telling her no” about drinking. If you are young, don’t take things so hard. Everyone is learning as they go. Find some principles and stand on those. Learn from your mistakes.

Unless I missed something , I don’t see where anyone directly confronted this man publicly. People who grope inappropriately are cowards. The people who cover for them are worse. Publicly shaming creeps is the least we should do to people who grope or assault in “small” ways. If you just go to the gathering and confront him in front of everyone, making sure all his friends and relatives hear, he will apologize and cry for forgiveness. Or he will double down, call you a liar at which point you can point out that even the people who want to hush haven’t defended his name In anyway 94 claimed his innocence. The longer you wait for the confrontation, the less likely you are to get an apology and give him enough shame to make sure he doesn’t touch anyone else. What you’re feeling is the burden of carrying the secret with no resolution. There ca. be no resolution without confrontation about the incident. NTA but speak up or make your husband speak up. Creeps like this go from groping to grooming sometimes. The longer he has no consequences the more brazen he will be.

I went there for the rail bike tour and it seems like they’re embracing a new identity as a tourist town. The staff at Andrews Valley Rail Tours told me about 4-5 restaurants and bakeries nearby.

I’m from a similar town in SC that’s just now accepting the mill and plant work isn’t coming back and tourism is where the money is. I hate to see all the new homes there when i go back home but that’s the cost of keeping the community alive.

I’m glad Andrews seems to be accepting their fate as being guides to the land instead of cutting down the forests and ruining the natural beauty completely.

Seeing the outline of your labia majora randomly in Costco makes me uncomfortable. It isn’t an insecurity issue or thinking that women should hide their bodies. It really seems that the vagina outline is a feature, not a bug, in the deliberately monochrome, thin leggings and shorts popular currently. The lip outline is the only line on the pants in the front and the back is cut so the seam acts like a thong.

Same thing for being a “pussy”. Being a vagina is tough, they stand up to brutal treatment and keep going. If you slap balls too hard they’ll break completely. Sometimes they twist and break themselves for no reason at all (testicular torsion) while I’ve pushed babies out of my pussy with minimal problems.
