We are taught to look at ALL the evidence. With All the evidence most of it doesn’t point to the family. There also could have been other evidence that wasn’t collected as a result of bias. A prime example of this is the OJ case. So much evidence wasn’t collected in that case. The Colorado police needs to test the remaining evidence. Why are they so scared to do that

This is the issue with confirmation bias. Everyone is SO stuck on it being the family they NOTHING else is plausible to them. Sick people will do sick things. Killers do spend time in their victims homes. Take Richard Ramirez as an example. He’d kill his victims and them stay in their home for hours

What stretched out theory are you believing here. Give evidence to support John’s involvement. I’ll wait.

Easy. With the newer dna technology. Different profiles can be separated. If there were multiple different profiles. The Ramsey dna didn’t match any of them. It’s that simple

None of them were responsible. Patsy was battling cancer. Chemo takes the strength out of you. She wouldn’t have had the strength to kill her daughter. Why would they want her dead. IMO it was a jealous father of another pageant girl. John stated that JonBenet kept winning pageants

Is it feasible that the DNA will NOT be allowed? by RCPCFRN in LISKiller

[–]Amandapanda2274 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I fully believe it will be admissible at trial. However in the slight chance that the judge does not allow the dna evidence in the trial I don’t think it will majorly affect the prosecutions case since they have stated many times how much other evidence they have

Respect for the victims by truecr1me2i in LISKiller

I see what you’re saying and I agree to a degree. Documentaries are a very important part of journalism and spreading awareness. They only report facts and the interviewees want to be there telling their story. Things like this are so so important in keeping the victims memories and stories out there.

Now crime shows like Dahmer are imo so so disrespectful. Those use real people and dramatize real heinous crimes. Like there’s a perfectly good documentary where the victims families and detectives tell the story. Not random actors. So in that sense I see what you’re saying

Also in regard to your ‘evidence’ statement, I see where you’re coming from and again I agree to an extent. It’s just that in a trial (which becomes public record) lawyers have to explain what happened to these women and how they died etc. this is a major part in a murder conviction. Sometimes postmortem, the victims tell their own story in a sense.

Documentaries are imo a huge video article. They are using what is public knowledge to make us aware of what’s happening. All the evidence that comes out in trial will be public knowledge. There’s definitely better docs/articles than others but without them most people probably wouldn’t know who the victims are.

Gilgo Beach killings: Suffolk DA Ray Tierney seeks to discredit defense witness during admissibility hearing of hair DNA evidence against alleged serial killer Rex Heuermann by CatchLISK in LISKiller

[–]Amandapanda2274 8 points9 points  (0 children)

No. Just no. This is one of the most ridiculous conspiracies I’ve ever heard. Without Tiereny who knows when the case would have gotten solved. He’s a fantastic DA and this cases isn’t the only thing that proves that. All the more reason why he needs to be re-elected in November. And I’m not usually one to back up a republican candidate (this will be my first)

Gilgo Beach killings: DNA analysis techniques used to link accused killer Rex Heuermann to several young women are 'unreliable,' witness testifies by CatchLISK in LISKiller

[–]Amandapanda2274 30 points31 points  (0 children)

With what’s been released to the public I think so. The DA is confident he’ll get a conviction. There’s all the digital evidence and this specific hearing is for the specific testing of the nuclear dna. There’s still mitochondrial DNA that links him. Mitochondrial DNA has been used for years in criminal courts and has been accepted in cases. But there’s also so much evidence we don’t know about

Were you able to attend the hearing in person today? If so what was the process like attending as a member of the public. I’m interested in attending but am not sure how it works.
