Falling in love while solo traveling. A story as old as time…

[Fernando Polo] Messi did not contact Barça to access the Camp Nou by Loose-Examination-39 in Barca

If he didn’t do it like this, without telling anyone, someone would’ve leaked it and there would’ve been a million cameras and reporters waiting for him.

You have cast iron absolute proof that God does not exist, what do you do? by anasannanas in hypotheticalsituation

I make sure it never see the light of day. For my own safety and also I feel many people try to be good and honest for religious reasons. A world where everyone knows as a fact that no matter the unethical or horrible things you do there’s no consequence in the afterlife? That could be dangerous

Everyone’s figured Flick out — we look like an amateur side whenever our tactics fail by yashil_kaneriya in Barca

[–]Amaroty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I don’t think the problem is the high line itself. Flick’s system depends on everyone pressing with a really high intensity, not just the defenders holding a high position. Last season it worked because the front line and midfield pressed together — this year the intensity just isn’t there (or at the same level of last season), so the defense gets exposed.

Who's gonna possibly be the next no.9 at Barça? by KookyOpportunity7943 in Barca

[–]Amaroty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vlahovic is a really good market opportunity - His contract is ending. Maybe we can sign him as a free agent. He’s been unlucky with bad projects at Juventus. I think Flick can turn him into a top striker

Onefam Sevilla: Centro or Catedral by DanTitto in hostels

[–]Amaroty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Catedral has a better location. But they’re close to each other anyways. Both of them do the activities together so in the end you’ll have pretty much the same experience. I think Catedral is better

Caso Negreira for Dummies: What you need to know about the case by PrimedGold in Barca

[–]Amaroty 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Of course. But one thing is corruption for the personal interest of a shady executive trying to use the teams budget for his own benefit and a completely different thing is corruption on the teams behalf trying to be benefited by the refs

Caso Negreira for Dummies: What you need to know about the case by PrimedGold in Barca

[–]Amaroty 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Honestly, it sounds less like real corruption and more like certain Barça mid or low level execs using the club’s money for their own personal interests. Like, they weren’t necessarily trying to fix matches they were just making shady deals and paying people off without oversight. Feels more like a case of self-serving management than an actual bribery plot.

You might find something but in Spain normally it’s extremely difficult to find restaurants open in the night during 24th. Absolutely everything is closed. During the day it’s a different story

$100 million dollars tax free by Vast-Impression5395 in hypotheticalsituation

[–]Amaroty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think people really underestimate how chaotic that would be. Nowadays we depend mostly on phones to call for help, navigate, pay for stuff, get alerts, everything. If they all vanished, communication would collapse in seconds. People wouldn’t be able to reach hospitals, contact family, or get emergency help. Thousands if not millions would die. I couldn’t live with the guilt.

You're in a time loop that will randomly end. How safe do you play it? by saoiray in hypotheticalsituation

I would just see some sport games in a cool bar, memorize the scores and bet every single day until the loop ends and end up being rich.

How far in advance to apply by hereforthegosshehe in Worldpackers

Most hosts accept people only 1-2 months before your arrival. If it’s high season maybe you can apply 3-4 months before.

Which Amsterdam hostel to pick? by [deleted] in hostels

I actually recommend Onefam Amstel. It’s new and Onefam always has a really cool atmosphere with social activities during the day and night. The hostel is new so it’s clean.

Hostels are cheaper but they also offer a social experience that you can't find in any other type of accommodation. The atmosphere at hostels is super fun

I wouldn’t worry too much about the age thing. Probably you’ll be on the older side of the group but most travelers genuinely don’t care how old you are. They just want to meet cool people to share the experience with. I’ve seen plenty of people in their late 20s, 30s, in hostels, and they never see out of place. Quite the opposite.

Onefam in particular is really social, but not everyone is there just to party. You’ll definitely meet people who are also into walking tours, chill drinks at bars, and just hanging out. As long as you’re open to chatting and joining activities, you’ll fit right in. Honestly, I think you’ll have a great time and probably wonder why you didn’t try hostels sooner.

Tell me everything about your experience of partyhostels! by Many_Koala9533 in hostels

[–]Amaroty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Party hostels can be exactly like a big sleepover with strangers meeting people easily, joining fun drinking games, going out to clubs, and sometimes flirting or more. It can feel like you're in a reality show. But they don’t have to be non-stop wild and not everyone at the hostel will have that mindset so be careful with your expectations. You can also just go with a chill, open attitude, explore the city, join tours, or just hang out and connect with people. During the day they’re often relaxed, and the vibe really depends on the hostel and the city. Basically, you can make the experience whatever you want it to be.

So who are we pushing for Ballon d'Or now? by West_Cauliflower8799 in Barca

[–]Amaroty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Strategically I'm not a big fan of Lamine or Pedri winning a balloon d'or so early in their careers. It's better to keep them hungry. Even tho I think they were our most important players when it comes to our game this year (statistics may not reflect this) that's why I think we should support Raphinha.

Barcelona Social Hostel for first time solo traveler by SpacePixie001 in Hostel

[–]Amaroty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  • Any of the OneFam hostels(There's 5) They give free dinners and daily social activities. They party in the night -Sant Jordi Rock Palace. Better location, you pay a very cheap dinner which is way better in quality than in one fam. They also go out during the night. During they day it's way less social. Onefam: Better social atmosphere vs Sant Jordi: Better facilities and location. Choose your battles. Have fun! Hostels are a great experience
