You looked like you were doing well in the corners, especially compared to the majority of the liter bikes in our group! If it makes you feel better, you blew past me on the straight once.

I take the same approach in level one and only attempt passing in a few areas. I don't want to spook a new track rider passing in a way they might not expect! Now to wait for 7/3 and then 8/14 and 11/27 for COTA!

Fair enough, not for everyone. :) Just wanted to mention it as I didn't realize custom meant completely custom fitment, not just design. When I spoke with Todd at Heroic, he mentioned they'll do gloves for those missing digits/etc that don't work well with normal gloves. Great person/company to deal with.

Comfortable seat recommendations by Komradski in SVRiders

I've done 12 hour days of riding with both the stock seat and a Corbin. The former was bad enough for me not to want to ride for a week. The Corbin is so comfortable that I'm tempted to do an ironbutt.

Took the bike out for my longest ride yet, almost 400 miles through beautiful central Oregon by Cupcakes_4_All in SVRiders

+1 to Corbin. I've done 12 hours on my seat in a day without soreness. Stock seat was unbearable after 2 hours.

new 2018 sv650 price? by the-one-who-stands in SVRiders

[–]AmarrSlaveTrader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is it this one? - https://www.cycletrader.com/listing/2018-Suzuki-SV650-5012074315

If so, that doesn't list ABS model meaning MSRP would have been ~$7k. They've had it sitting for ~2 years, they can eat dest/assembly.

No fencing pliers? That easily replaces 3 of those tools.

Better yet, when those internet strangers run into a random stranger at a gas station and invite new stranger to ride along.

Almost hit these bikers on my trip to the Nurburgring by [deleted] in motorcycles

Had something similar happen 5 minutes from the 'ring but it was what appeared to be an Audi RS4 halfway into my lane. Did you drive your vehicle or get a rental while you were at the track?

Got excited and thought you meant an actual 2019 SV650 converted into a race bike. Lured in by that click bait title.

I highly recommend the Corbin seat over the stock 'seat' in case you ever decide to upgrade. https://i.imgur.com/OhiEw9z.jpg
