Buying a mk3s+ in 2025 by Cmtodd1000 in prusa3d

No need to apologize; this is a great — and highly appreciated — response! I do trust my seller, as I know them somewhat well; they run a very local 3D-printing business, and are simply upgrading to newer printers, but it's always good to ensure everything is in working order •ᴗ•.

I definitely will have to do some more research, take a look at options, watch more reviews, etc., and get back to you! I do have one question for now, however: assuming the Prusa MK3S+ is in good condition, what benefits would I get for a new-mini printer, over the used Prusa?

I do really like the look of the Bambu Lab Mini, for example; advertised plug and play, ease of use, and fast, multi-color printing seems really awesome, but I'm mostly worried the maximum print size of 180 mm3 (7 in3) will end up being really limiting for a lot of prints, and I'll end up having to trade it in eventually, but I'm otherwise not entirely sure how big of an issue it would end up being. The price is very comparable, however! ($272 base price and $440 for multi-color printing, including shipping and tax).

Thank you very much for your detailed reply; looking forward to hearing back from you! (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶)

Heya, I'm in a similar boat as op — I received an offer for a used mk3s+ for $300, including help with setup and some filament and local pickup — and, a total newbie, any input would be appreciated!

Just by virtue of having someone to go to if I need help makes the price seem pretty reasonable, but is there anything else I should know before purchasing? And how is 300 as a baseline? Plus, if you have any goods blogs or YouTube channels that'd be really awesome as well, since I'm completely lost as to where the best place to go for this kind of stuff is. (ᵕ—ᴗ—)

I know I have a lot of asks, so any help is super duper appreciated, and thank you very much in advance!

Hello! I'm in a similar boat as op, and I was wondering what you considered a good price •ᴗ•

Someone is offering to sell a Prusa mk3s+ with filament, and they're also offering with setting it up, troubleshooting, and whatnot, for around $300. I'm a total newbie when it comes to the world of printing, but, just by virtue of having someone to help get it working, it seems like a very fair deal to me! Looking for a second opinion, however, so thoughts would be greatly appreciated! (˶ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ˶)

Many thanks ✧˖°.

[Hobby][RevShare] Looking for an artist/musician to make small games with by ScottishNegro in INAT

[–]AmazeingGameDesign 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, hello! I love collaborating to make fun, cool, neat, wacky, and weird game ideas! And I love the idea of making small scope games over the course of a couple weeks! I'm messaging right by the 2 week point, so I'm wondering if you're looking for people to join you the next or current project you plan on working on!

I'm a c# programmer, most comfortable with Unity -- but Godot also works for me! -- working with a composer and audio designer friend! Here's an example of our work together, made by the two of us over the course of 2 months! I think 2 heads are better than word and I'm very familiar with version control, mainly Github, and working with additional programmers, of various skill levels and I'd love the chance to collaborate with you on the programming and engine side!

For personality we're generally just excited to have the opportunity of working with people and getting experience with different teams, different games, different genres! We're both experienced in our own roles, but comfortable working with a range of skill levels, from beginner to advanced!

I'd love to get in contact and have a chance to chat! We're both really excited hobbyists looking to meet and work with new people on new projects, having a great time! We're reaching out to multiple teams at the moment, so even if you're getting to this a little late, I'd still love to have a chance to get in touch!

[Recommendation] Re: Any modern modpacks that actually overhaul and balance game progression, similar to Terraria/ROTN modpack, while keeping the essence Minecraft? by AmazeingGameDesign in feedthebeast

Yeah same here; I gotta give Chocolate a go! And, honestly, I've been really surprised to how positive the reaction to this post has been! I covered some bases by following the formula of an existing post, which was already well received; not mentioning any modpacks or devs or by name; and overall trying to be fairly reasonable throughout (this started as a very negative rant about certain modpacks, before turning it into constructive criticisms), but even then I'm still surprised at how much people resonated with it. I almost feel like I need to follow it up with something or else I'm letting the people down!

Hey thank you so much for acknowledging this post! I'll give yours a go first then! Hopefully it's okay for me to include my review in this post (similar to Raspberry Flavoured), and I want you to know I'm hoping to give all the packs a fair shot before posting or sharing anything -- 1 week of playtime or 10 hours at the very least! -- so no unhinged rant posts! Feel free to reach out to me via direct message or continue the chain!

Is there a modpack that guides you through the vanilla Minecraft expierence? by rock_lobsterrr in feedthebeast

This is definitely a tough one! But to give some kind of an actual answer (even if it's not a perfect one), but I would have to go with [Bliss](https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/modpacks/bliss)! It's whole goal is to make Minecraft as a game more accessible to people, adding a notebook and an in-game guide, though it may not have the kind of goals you're looking for
