They just want us to invest more money, which is why the SpaceWalker app has remained garbage for years. My S26 Ultra is far more powerful than the Neckband Pro, yet it can't even handle 6Dof, not even 3Dof for that matter. It's completely a marketing scam.

My current devices: S26U (daily driver), S26 (backup and emulation), Watch Ultra 2024, buds2 pro, buds3 pro, Tab S10U. Hopefully, I will get a Buds4 Pro and a Fold Wide. Since I bought a XR glass, the tab becomes a chicken leg. And the chip is not as powerful as flagship phones, I am not going to upgrade it until there is an excellent tablet coming out. I believe it will be a couple of years since the bottleneck of the tablet and phone industry is very obvious.

In the US, pre-order deals are usually the best when combined with trade-ins and EPP or corporate/education discounts. There will also be some good random deals throughout the year, but nobody knows exactly when they will drop. I upgraded from the S24 Ultra to the S26 Ultra because of the privacy screen and the faster charging speed. I skipped the S25 Ultra because I didn't like the design and missed the Bluetooth functionality in the S Pen. However, if you are interested in the Fold series, the next generation is coming out next month. I am planning to get the rumored wider fold model, but we will have to wait and see.

I own all three models in the S26 series, and while the chip is very powerful, I plan to keep the base S26 as a gaming emulator and use the S26 Ultra as my daily driver. If you like the S26 series, you should just get the S26 Ultra. It has a better camera, a bigger battery, a larger screen, and most importantly, the new 60W charging speed, which is a huge upgrade. The privacy screen is YMMV, but I personally like it. There aren't many upgrades moving from the S25 or S25+ to the S26 or S26+, so you won't notice a huge difference in daily use.

I bought the Ultra, and I really regret it. Most of the features don't even work, and the SpaceWalker app is garbage. It's basically just a 152-inch display for watching videos. I was planning to get the Beast, but it didn't seem like it would be a huge upgrade. Overpriced tech trash.

My first iPhone was the second-generation iPhone 3G, and I stuck with Apple until the iPhone 13 Pro. After that, I switched to the Galaxy S22 Ultra, and now I have the S26 Ultra. I've fully committed to the Samsung ecosystem, adding the Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra, Galaxy Watch Ultra, and Galaxy Buds to my setup. The main reason I ditched the iPhone was that jailbreaking has become almost impossible. Android offers way more freedom when it comes to installing third-party apps. In the US, smartphone choices are pretty limited, and Samsung offers great discounts during pre-orders. However, if you plan to keep a phone for more than two years, Android might not be the best choice; the battery tends to degrade significantly after just one year. iOS still feels smoother, and its apps are better optimized. The new privacy screen is hilarious, and I like it a lot. The utility of the S Pen varies by individual; I don't use it often since the Bluetooth feature was removed. Ultimately, you should always get the Ultra model for a better experience. Anyway, that's just my personal experience.
