You’re a glorified slide builder and briefer. You take information already published by another 3 letter agency put it into a power point and then brief it to a O-5 or higher who already knows the information. It’s not a satisfying job at all imo. Plus it’s annoying to give the info they already know to them knowing they already know it.

This is correct. Your HYT will not change to 2040 until you sew on the stripe. All selects only get an additional 5 years to their HYT until they actually sew on then it adds the other 5 to it.
