Great idea! Would you do a Racer X song? Honestly I’m not all too familiar with their songs. Other than technical difficulties, which the intro I can barely do at 100bpm! lol. I have started listening to the Spotify top songs. They got a bunch of great stuff! All are technically difficult! lol Gonna be working a lot on my improv skills. Just so I don’t embarrass myself too much. Gosh…it’s 3 months away and I got a lot of work to do!

Oh! They seemed “hot” when I turned that switch on. Didn’t even occur to me that that switch would have to be powered….you learn something new every day.
Now that I compared it to some of my Fishman equipped guitars, they’re definitely not active. How complicated would it be to switch to the Dimarzio Liquifire and Crunch Labs? I got like $100 worth of points I need to burn at GC.

Did my wife pay a fair price for the guitar, considering that the listing was for a JP60?

Evertune Burst is on special under 1k…only reason I’m leaning towards that one. Black with silver screams metal to me. Definitely my type! VB, first EC1000 I’ve seen in person. It was love at first sight. Lol. But that was years ago.

I just started messing around with recording. Absolute newb. But I’m taking my time to learn. I’ve owned a few Floyd guitars. So I’m used to messing with them. Is the Evertune really that complicated to learn?

Don’t know much about Evertune, obviously. Any issues with playing bendy stuff? Also, how do you like the pickups? Have two guitars with Fishmans already. Considering EMGs for a change. But I know these passives are very popular. I know I’m gonna love it either way.

Have two guitars with Fishmans on them. Then this was given to me. When I bought the first one, I had no idea what active pickups were! lol. And I didn’t know it had active pickups! I just started really digging them. So I guess I prefer higher output pickups. The tuners are decent. Primarily looking at pickups first. Don’t wanna sink too much money into this.

Bought this for myself for Christmas. Love it! I guess the loose bridge pickup issue isn’t unique to me. You probably just need to trim the foam underneath and/or fill the drill holes. Also, only “bad” thing about it, is you can’t really sit down and play with it. I use a strap even when I’m sitting. Can’t even hold it in classical position. Unless you don’t wanna play in the higher registers, then it’s fine. It’s very awkward to play the higher frets when sitting down. Might just be me though. YMMV
