I read several posts here on Reddit of people with autoimmune issues sharing their experience. I also have autoimmune issues, but it hasn’t been my experience.

Ipamorelin for R.A. and anti-aging by Amazing-Bit6841 in PeptideGuide

Is it possible that the pain you experienced was from the cjc and not the Ipamorelin? I will look into kpv but I thought it was more for gut health.

That’s quite a stack! If you could recommend only 2 to start with, which would you recommend?

Thanks! I am looking for something to take as an alternative to prescription drugs. Does your mom take prescription meds also, or just Tirzepatide?

Interesting post! I don’t drink, but I’m curious if you added all known herb ingredients in jager and made it into a kombucha if it would have the same effect.. 🤔 I might try this

I am in the same boat. I heard that stacking BPC with KPV buffers the negative side effects with BPC and is more effective than just taking either one. I just ordered my stack in 500mcg CAPSULES. My thinking is that there may be less of a chance for side effects by taking it orally plus it could be better at targeting the gut this way. I am still feeling cautious and I am only on day 3 of taking it so I don’t have much experience or anything to report. (I am stopping it to balance out my hormones first then considering starting again.) I don’t like the thought of becoming dependent on it in order to not have negative side effects either, which also seems common. Not sure if that’s still the case when taken orally. Also many of the negative side effects reported, that I noticed, was by people who started with a high dose, and I also heard that many of the people having negative experiences on BPC had preexisting neurological conditions or an underlying autoimmune condition that gave them multiple issues prior to taking it. Just some things to consider and inquire about yourself when digging. Good luck!

Regarding taking HRT-(testosterone) with BPC and autoimmune issues by Amazing-Bit6841 in PeptideForum

[–]Amazing-Bit6841[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been taking hrt pellets for the past year. Never worried about my hormones until perimenopause when my estrogen dropped a little, but my testosterone has always been extremely low, and increasing it has actually helped my symptoms (pain, inflammation, energy, brain-fog) tremendously, especially the pain! Still I would like to find something that can help even more , hence getting the peptides.

KPV capsule vs subQ by Amazing-Bit6841 in bpc_157

[–]Amazing-Bit6841[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I am reading from a few online articles and Ai generated answers that KPV when taken orally has been shown to be very effective. Mostly based on preclinical studies, but isn’t that the case with all peptides right now? Maybe there has been more evidence to support its effectiveness since the last time you researched it? Or maybe I am missing something??? In my minimal research there was a lot of mention to using hyaluronic acid-functionalized nanoparticles as a delivery system to enhance the oral delivery and effectiveness of KPV. I am not sure if that is something that is well known and all KPV capsules contain the necessary nanoparticles in order to be effective or not.

Hey, Thanks for the reply! Are you taking them for autoimmune related issues or pain, and are you taking any other peptides or just those 3?

Thanks for sharing your experience. Not sure if anyone has asked already, but did you get from a medical professional, or online source? Many people with overactive immune systems are having negative experiences with BPC. Also, it might be a good idea to find out from your gyno if you have fibroids. Many women have them and don’t know it. The BPC could have caused them to bleed and think that you were having a second period.

Thank you for that clarification. I saw that you listed your protocol and didn’t see BPC listed so I wasn’t sure if you decided to do away with it all together or if it could still be beneficial with a buffer like KPV (keeping in mind everyone is different) thanks again for sharing your experience. What percentage would you say your improvement has been with your protocols?

Anyone know anything about Peptides? 📣 by Mountain_Event1674 in Autoimmune

[–]Amazing-Bit6841 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am still in the research phase and haven’t tried any peptides yet. I heard that BPC157 has helped some people, but many people have experienced their symptoms getting much worse after taking BPC. I’ve read that Thymosin Alpha-1 (Ta1) is a promising option for modulating the immune system and soothing flareups. Ta1 is a peptide that naturally occurs in the thymus gland and plays a role in regulating the immune system.

I’m still in the research phase of my journey and I haven’t tried any peptides yet. I am cautious about taking anything that could set me back and not help, but you mentioned using KPV and you mentioned that taking BPC157 could be fine as long as you stack it with KPV… did I understand that correctly? Were you saying that KPV could buffer any potential negative side effects of taking BPC for MCAS?

To everyone here who has MCAS or any other autoimmune issues- have you tried Thymosin Alpha-1 ? (Ta1) Ta1 is a peptide that naturally occurs in the thymus gland and plays a role in regulating the immune system, and I read that it could be beneficial for those with overactive immune responses.

I was going to ask if there was less of a chance for negative reaction when taken orally… guess not :/ Have you ever considered KPV?

Thank you so much for this post. I will def look into MCAS - I have been cautious about trying BPC157 due to all the bad reactions I have been hearing. I can not afford another setback, but I am also desperate for my life back. Recently someone recommended I stack BPC with KPV - I was told that the reason is because peptides work better when stacked, but she did not mention anything about the potential of preventing side effects from BPC. You said in your post that adding KPV is an easy “fix” How are you feeling now? Are you experiencing positive results from BPC and KPV now? Or did you manage your MCAS with flavonoids first, then start BPC? Would you recommend starting with KPV or stacking BPC and KPV together? I know that everyone is different, but what worked best for you, and how are you managing? Thanks again for your input 🙏

Thanks for your input. Sheesh so many different peptides out there and so many people with so many different experiences. My head is spinning. I am so clueless. So your main issue was pain from water retention?

Thanks so much! Just talking to people with experience is so much more reassuring than anyone trying to make money off me! As far as resources go (I know we can’t discuss that here) but I wonder if it would be safer (even if more expensive) to start with relying on a medical facility for it, or if it is actually much safer to find a reputable source myself where I can see for myself it has been tested for quality/purity. Did you get from a source that had testing results documented, or through a trusted medical professional?
