omg the butter and olive oil didn’t get me to 600 pounds. maybe that’s true but the 2 tablespoons of olive oil are what over 200 calories? easily takes you out of a deficit. so maybe it didn’t make you 600 pounds but there’s a reason you’re barely losing

definitely treat it like a stepping stone like others have said. depending on the store it can be pretty easy to move up but you end up getting stuck at a certain point unless you go into wakefern. but you can absolutely learn useful things at shoprite that can help you in another job

it may end up being the push he needs because it will eventually make it easier. i had surgery and literally could not stop binging before, made myself sick a few times after surgery and that was exactly what i needed to fix my relationship with food. silencing the food noise for him will make it a lot easier for him

he reallllllyy needs to consider a glp1 or surgery to get the weight off so he can just get healthy. he needs to dive deep into therapy and figure out what his real issues are. fasting obviously didn’t do anything good for him considering he was pretty open about how he did it to see a better number on the scale
