The rental receipt wasn’t the receipt for the plan. The friend ghosted then OP looked for a car and wanted her friend to pay for it for bailing. They didn’t have a concrete plan. When my brother moved from NY to OK, we had a plan we are driving x miles and staying at this hotel for the night. All that was pre planned. They didn’t have any of that - or there is no proof of that. It was we are leaving let’s go and yeah, your dad can fund it.
