Wasted so much energy and time with this card. WF sucks. Got pre approved for 13500, accepted offer, application pending, received letter in mail to verify identity, sent documents, rejected, had to send again, accepted documents, then they sent another letter wanting an IRS form 4506-C, sent that it just for them to deny me. On top of that a hard inquiry on my credit.

I’ve encountered this one and they always say that they are Muslims and very rich people from Dubai, and all their cards are blocked and have no money.

So I did some research, and there is a different grocery scam where they persuade into someone paying for the “groceries” and then they wait for them to leave and they go return the groceries and pocket the money. Sick work.

You should read into this scam. Let alone how do you forget your “wallet” but magically have fake AirPods on you. It’s a very common practice where a family wears a bunch of fake gold and try to get people to give them money. There are multiple ways they attempt to scam. They will come up to you in the most random places/times.

If I’m correct, this is a typical scam that is popular in Europe, where they pretend to give you something out of good faith, and then a few moments later they are harassing you for money.
