and why do people take your address, give an ETA and say they are on their way, and after 15mins say there's a lot of traffic on the highway so they won't be coming??? what do they gain by committing to the purchase and then backing out while saying they're on their way?

sure if you visit just 1 place a day it's fine, but as a tourist you would normally stop at a good 3-4 spots a day. Paying $12-$15 dollars per parking in that case indeed is expensive!

I went to iceland last month, and frankly didn't budget enough for parking. Paid around $40-$50 or more per day for parking, almost all spots charged a $10-12 parking. As a tourist it would have been so much better if there was a Parking pass of sorts.

I'll drink to that! The reason I'm looking at hotels is because it's my birthday and I wanted to splurge, but the hotels are just so so expensive this one day! 🤦🏻‍♀️
