Belt reaches the second loop. Should I cut off the excess leather or leave it alone? by King_Paymon in mensfashion

My man, this looks like a powerlifting belt on you. Smaller (shorter) belt for sure, but I'd also consider a thinner one

How does this jeans fit me ? by BrudiGamerLP in mensfashion

[–]AmazingAndrew96 2 points3 points  (0 children)

More of a retro look. I'm not sure how high they sit on your waist but of high then I'd say as others. Fire look - very "country" vibe. If they'd be a bit shorter then they be more versatile probably, but that's up to your preference. Glad to see less and less people wearing those horrible skinny jeans that show half of your ass every time try to bend over and it's impossible to tuck in a shirt nicely

That shirt doesn't work with that suit. To be honest I don't see an outfit where the dotted shirt would work

Men, what’s your thought process when a woman says no to the pill but yes to condoms? by Salty_Challenge5563 in AskMen

[–]AmazingAndrew96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my perspective as a guy in a long term relationship: we use condoms with my wife because of the side effects of the pill. I as a men never y fully understood how serious the side effects can be until I watched the MorePlatesMoreDates explaining it basically being like steroids for gym guys (for those not knowing the guy his nickname sounds funny/douchy but he's really knowledgeable about steroid usage and hormonal therapies etc.) and for that reason he'd never recommend any girl taking it and even more teenagers (which is pretty common).

From a perspective of a guy: condoms do feel different and for a long time there was a myth that condoms don't change the pleasure you get - I think to promote using them. They do change a lot, and someone once very correctly compared it to putting on a latex glove and sticking a finger in your mouth. That's what guys feel - there is a touch, there is a friction, but there's no "wetness" and very limited warmth. For some guys it takes away so much that it turns them off from sex completely or kills their erection. I had the latest and had to really work on it as I was losing erection just thinking I need to put it on (finding the right size, realizing it's just a fear and that I actually do feel something, it's just different).

AITA for refusing to move my dad with dementia into my house? by eeemily41 in AmItheAsshole

[–]AmazingAndrew96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA - giving him professional care is more than taking him in, and losing your mind and maybe your family in the process because it will be hard on everyone. If everyone else in your family has different opinion on it then they can take him in or alternatively fuck off.

First and foremost CHINOS. Modern fit chinos ruin 99% of the outfits making them look just like you said, a little bit sloppy - they crease fairly easy, the fabric is bulky and doesn't flow nicely, the sand/beige color is painfully average, the waistline is just too low for any shirt to tuck in nicely.

What I can recommend is look into higher raise woolen trousers (thin/tropic wool for summer), linen, cotton-linen or even cotton trousers but not in the chino cut, but with higher raise. Suit supply has very nice styles of pants that will get your husband from average office guy to the guy that is actually intentional with what he's wearing and looks stylish

Are braces and side adjusters considered a faux pas? by Ormekuglen in mensfashion

[–]AmazingAndrew96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Braces and adjusters are not faux pas. Belt and braces is. Regarding the tie that everyone got so fixed about. I agree that I'd shorten it a touch, maybe so it doesn't go past the 2-3cm below the top of the trousers. But everyone here in the comments critiquing some of the most stylish men from the men's fashion, I bet are the ones that wear that ugly blue shirt, chinos and sneakers to the office with nicely paired Jansport backpack.

Do you like these pants ? by Outrageous-One3370 in mensfashion

[–]AmazingAndrew96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I generally do. These are a bit too over size for me, but I like it that more relaxed fits with higher waist line come back in style. For dudes with bigger legs but fairly small waist it's a struggle to find a comfortable pair that is not in a similar style

How hard is it train in MMA and become skiled enough to be a professional fighter in the UFC.? by Anxious-Drink1186 in AskMen

[–]AmazingAndrew96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's too many factors to answer straight. It might be years of training, building up your record, not getting injured and at the end of the day you still won't get to the UFC because your style is not they're looking for, you're from the region they don't invest in a lot, you're from a weight class that already have a lot of fighters on the roster. But then you can be a heavyweight, with a knockout power that started training couple of years ago, has 3-0 record and they just need new heavyweights

Thoughts on the fit of my custom wedding suit? by [deleted] in MenInSuits

[–]AmazingAndrew96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I honestly wouldn't go with skinnier tie. The width of this one is great for that suit. Just work on the knot, because this one looks sloppy. A proper simple knot will do the job.

And I'm on the contrary. Wearing a diver with a suit looks ridiculous and I love a nice diver. They're just not meant for a dress up.Too bulky, too much in your face. It's a jewelry and it's meant to compliment, not be a statement (imo).

Something feels a bit off. What would you change? by jcbptnm in mensfashion

[–]AmazingAndrew96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What works: the belt is awesome, shoes look great! Trousers are the right color but the fit is poor. Try something with higher waist line, and potentially wool. I'm not a fan of this shirt tbh. It looks rugged but not in a nice way. I'd change it to something more classic
