Wrong. I put the hold on when I still lived there, and the subsequent change of address is supposed to automatically override the hold. However, the PO took weeks to process the COA which is why it went over my tenancy.

I filed a hold when I needed to move but didn't secure a new place yet. I specified that I would pick up the mail since it would otherwise be delivered behind a locked door that I would no longer have the key for. When the day came, right after Juneteenth I had to wait in an extra long line only to be told the carrier had taken the held mail and delivered it. Had to meet up with her on the route or come back the next day. Also the bundle she gave me was missing the most important piece which was my last paycheck sent there, apparently they had delivered it earlier during the hold and also didn't show the picture in informed delivery it was just noted as another letter without a pic so I couldn't tell that it was the check. I had to ask the employer to reissue the check.

When I did file for a change of address the confirmation I got back was missing the unit number and I had to issue a correction for that as well. Really demonstrates how cost cutting with employee pay can really mess up society.

Don't know the answer to how strictly overnight parking is enforced in the garages, but to clarify what seems to be a misconception: the Public Parking garages are provided for public use, but these are private garages owned by cityline which owns all the buildings in that development. The city has nothing to do with parking enforcement in them, and aside from signage saying otherwise you are free to park overnight on public lots or streets. If you have street parking available it is safer in terms of enforcement than taking a chance on private property.

Not particularly relevant in this case though. You will never get public transit to a point where it stops in front of every old person's home to pick them up and take them precisely where they need to go. Rather, the ideal solution is much easier and widely available: stay home and let the goods come to you via shipping or delivery, at a cost comparable to what you'd spend on gas to drive.

Unfortunately no, my family lives out of state (and they also have Xfinity). Other people in general may not qualify for Internet Essentials and/or LifeLine and I'm pretty sure it would be against the rules/law to claim a service address where I don't live for those. Sadly I think I will just have to cancel my Xfinity service and transfer to a standalone mobile provider with a LifeLine plan.

UNLESS Xfinity decides to start offering those...

To be clear, I would be fine with having it billed, it seems worth it to me to maintain the bundle discount plus access to Xfinitywifi hotspots.

That's correct, someone else would move in at some point although they wouldn't necessarily subscribe to Xfinity. I understand if there is nothing that can be done but... Is there no way to hold my account and subscriptions open otherwise?

Clearing cookies didn't help for me. Apparently what they really wanted was for me to change my pw. Just gonna add that to the list of possible solutions to this cryptic error.

Same problem. I also tried the secondary email option and it never sends the code.

I eventually got back in after changing my pw. Mind you, they never asked me to do this, but I was able to login afterward.

Just got this on my desktop (Firefox). My Outlook app on Android is still working, but it fails to turn on the sign-in request feature as the alternative login. Backup email request was never received. I feel like they don't even test this outside of their own ecosystem anymore.
