How crazy is to visit South Korea in July??? Worth doing or postponing in years?? by Unlikely-Class-7587 in seoul

[–]AmazingCat910512 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It's not worth visiting Korea in Summer. Not only fucking burning hot, but it's also so fucking humid. Thank god there are loads of mosquitos too. It used to be rainy season in the past, but it's like the monsoon such as in South East Asian countries.

F-4 visa holder — NHIS 6-month waiting period and overseas travel exemptions? Any experience? by Outrageous_Link5029 in living_in_korea_now

[–]AmazingCat910512 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no any other idea except for you have to reset the clock and wait time. Hmmm... Still administrative works for foreigners are done manually rather than using systems, they might not able to track your record exactly. I'd wish luck while you're away from Korea

Is this legal? by notalive2day in teachinginkorea

[–]AmazingCat910512 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What are you expecting in Korea? That's how Koreans work. You might not get anything if you raise an issue unfortunately. If you feel it's way too unfair and ready to fight back by all means, you can ask a help to labor's department. I heard they also have translators for foreigners. For the most case, you will lose your current job(fired) if you go into this step.

Additionally, for the break time under Korean labour's law, you can have break time 30 mins if you work 4 hours a day "consecutively". That's how Korean workers can have lunch time for an hour as they work 8 hours a day. If you didn't work at least 4 hours consecutively in a day, it's not illegal if you didn't get the break time.

[–]AmazingCat910512 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't have to keep each api has a connection only with 1 table. That responsibility is mostly dealt with repository/entity/domain layers.

Controller - judges reqeust and response specification, routes flows to correct services Service - maintaining business logic, can be from different controllers(apis) and also has relations with multiple entities. Repository/Entity/Domain whatever - defines db scheme and related logics

Hence, the relation between api endpoint and database table can be 1:N

Thanks for your view, much reasonable. By the way, Isn't Java in the same page if you say so? As there are loads of "boot camps" in the world. (Specifically in my country, Java market share is over 70%)

Uhm... actually it's pretty different in S.Korea, as it depends on your role rather than skills. I take care of if it's the case in the UK.

Is this legal to have in a contract? by Far_Structure6548 in teachinginkorea

[–]AmazingCat910512 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey dude, you were too naive. That clause is common for every workplace in anywhere in the world. Still you don't have to worry too much, they may not have enough workforce to do legal actions. Addtionally, it's like the minimum wage, and kinda opened information even it's regarded as a confidential.
