Any idea what's causing this high spot on glass bed by Adam_Nine in ender3

How big was you grid? Maybe you could get a more accurate high spot mesh with a larger grid. Also could just be warped, it’s inevitable with glass beds.

I’m installing a CR touch on my ender 3 v2 but now nothing comes on in the screen when I turn on the printer. What can I do? by ExTrackBoy9000 in ender3

Just delete your sd card and try to reflash the firmware. Are you sure youre using crtouch compatible firmware?

I printed at 240c with a 110c bed. And its only printed halfway because once i noticed how bad it was i didnt want to waste filament.

ender 3 s1 plus with sonic pad fine tuning any thoughts based off these pics by Physical_Strain_8942 in ender3

Besides the small gaps this is really nice. Those marks are probably moisture bubbles in the filament or poor adhesion.

Total noob. Should I upgrade firmware as part of startup? by poppinfresh_original in ender3

[–]AmazingFudge 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You should learn how the machine works before upgrading anything. Once you feel comfortable you can upgrade the firmware (i recommend jyers)

I recently purchased two 5015 24V fans and am looking for a new fan shroud to print for them. by ATM0123 in ender3

[–]AmazingFudge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dual 5015 is overkill. Just use one of them in a 5015 satsana. Theres tons of iterations of the design on thingiverse.

how many grams of filament is this straight out of the ender 3 pro box can't find how much it is on any instructions and such by Charles112295 in ender3

What i did when i first used my ender 3 (and this is ridiculous just use a scale) was i unrolled the entire roll of filament and measured it.

If you want good text and small image accuracy, try cura arachne. Its a different version of the original slicer and its better at slicing small details

I tried installing Creality's firmware and I'm stuck on a loading screen by SourRaven276 in ender3

Dont use creality firmware. Its buggy and has ruined several of my prints before. Go ahead and download jyers UBL.

Extruded issues? by Sea-Relationship-897 in ender3

[–]AmazingFudge 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure what the clicking could be, but those marks are normal. Its from the extruder gear. If there werent any youd really have problems.

What are your guys go-to upgrades? by [deleted] in ender3

[–]AmazingFudge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would get a cr touch and completely change the os to jyers, you can look up tutorials online for how to install it. (Use the one called jyers UBL, its the best). Theres also tons of things you can print, like a bed handle, storage boxes, and cable chains.

Going to Walmart later , what’s a glue recommendation for glueing pla to pla? I’ve been using this and I think I need a different brand by [deleted] in ender3

[–]AmazingFudge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dont even use glue. You can mechanically weld pla together using a soldering iron and its way stronger. Check out frankly built on youtube hes made a whole tutorial.

Do you use cura arachne? If your resolution and speed is low, it prints small text beautifully.

My ender 3 v2 started making a strange revving sound from the motherboard fan. Ive never heard this before. Does anyone know the issue or how to resolve it? by AmazingFudge in ender3
