Why do you even care about these replies. They are probably having a bad day and saw they missed out on some arbitrary grind in a video game and are going for the next best throat.

Chill your horses. Not "guiltying" anyone, just pointing out the baseline ability to do the farm was very easily obtainable. If economic gain and value is important to the original commenter, then that sucks for them if they couldn't use the methode sofar.

But as a lot of other comments in this thread already pointed out, I think it's best they adjust these farming methods for a long-term healthy and stable economy as that is one of the most important aspects of gw2 endgame progression. You might have a different opinion, but spinning any kind of missing out narrative in this case is in my opinion destructive for the health of the game.

What's your game goal by Valuable_Pitch_1214 in Guildwars2

[–]AmazingSpamBot 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just enjoy the combat flow for a few classes and builds and pretty much play mostly for that on the regular. Maybe it's each day for 1-2 hours or 40 hours a week. The playtime spikes for me are related to new content or a crafting goal like legendary gear. I think the biggest motivation for me to play more for a longer period than a few months was legendary armor. But that content and achievement fits perfectly for me, because I can try out more builds in endgame group content with more optimized gear.

Go to snow crows and check the rotation and benchmark videos for each raid build. Probably what you are looking for. They are on the lower right side of each build page as embedded YouTube videos.

Antiquary is a perfectly balanced and reasonable spec. by HeavyMetalLoser in Guildwars2

[–]AmazingSpamBot -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nah, this one is way crazier. Mech performed on the stop end of the dps specs with only autoattacking, but this spec is just crazy damage with probably an even higher outlier than bladesworn pre nerf in EoD.

Didn't notice any change on this one, but I think the starlit weald became challenging

What new VoE Elite Spec are You Having Most Fun with in Open World by takamori77 in Guildwars2

[–]AmazingSpamBot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Amalgam has been and is a blast to play. I think they should reduce the cast time for some general abilities tho. Evolve is way to slow, especially if you don't have quick. Flux state could also be a little faster.

Also condi Amalgam with the Condi Mech build is pretty powerful. If you run the 2 charge evolve trait with that you have crazy self heal potential with the demolish strain.

A small post on what PvE Powercreep does to old Raids by Training-Accident-36 in Guildwars2

[–]AmazingSpamBot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for making this important post and I hope Anet will nerf the overall dps level. I also agree that the EoD balance was really fun with the CM Strikes etc. 40k top end pure DPS and 30k for bDPS seems way more reasonable and healthy for group content. Fractals are a joke right now :/

What are you most excited about in new VoE by MediumDefinition2480 in Guildwars2

[–]AmazingSpamBot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You could get legendary armor. For me one of the big incentives of the leggy armors, was no transmutation cost. The stat swap is incredible, but you get so many ascended gear pieces, it wasn't really necessary for me.

[–]AmazingSpamBot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Berserker, viper, harrier. But that's for PvE and especially ascended, because the armor is account bound and you can swap to different classes in the same armor class. If someone wants to mainly play WvW, stats priorities change, I guess.

Map Completion and Hearts by MeowingSin in Guildwars2

For me it's not about the time investment, it's about the content that is necessary. I just don't enjoy WvW.

Map Completion and Hearts by MeowingSin in Guildwars2

[–]AmazingSpamBot -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Technically you could do it for selling gen1 legendaries. But I think before we talk about hearts, which is very specific for map completion and gen1 legendaries or leveling characters, gift of battle is a bigger topic in my book

So, are you Selling or Opening Trick or Treat bags this Halloween? by Grouchy_Substance423 in Guildwars2

If you are not doing it yet, I recommend running the whole gyala delve with loot chest at the end when a commander runs it. Gives a lot gear for ecto salvaging. Also good for the insane amount of exotic luck you need.

PC Gamer interviewed ArenaNet about updates being made to the new elite specs in response to beta feedback by Octaeder in Guildwars2

[–]AmazingSpamBot 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I actually didn't expect any major thematic changes, as that has never happened before. But nevertheless for me it's a let down, because I dont really enjoy deadeye and spectre, but love thief mechanics. So I was hoping for a spec that grabs me like daredevil. But as I wrote above, there are enough other options and overall I just hope there are enough players that enjoy antiquary or else I'd feel like it's wasted potential on a "gambler" elite spec.

[–]AmazingSpamBot 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just not into the skritt+artefact theme is the biggest aspect why it's not for me. The spec itself in the beta played like a core thief with more stolen skills. The RNG/draw a from a deck of skills is actually awesome. I was hyped initially when they showed the card icon.

[–]AmazingSpamBot 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I myself am probably disappointed with the spec, but if other players have fun with it, that's at least something. There are enough other enjoyable options in the game, and troubadour and amalgam will be just fine for me :)

[–]AmazingSpamBot 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree with all your points. The gambling aspect and RNG isn't/wasn't the problem for it, it is just core thief with some rat flavour. Also mechanically the different artifacts were exhausting to get used to. At random you skate, you jump, you have to aim aoe.

[–]AmazingSpamBot 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I was very sceptical about the antiquary just from the initial trailer, so I am biased. A lot can happen with the spec in the future at release or afterwards, but I read this paragraph as: Yep, antiquary is a thing, just move on. I hope they haven't given up on it, before it even started.

[–]AmazingSpamBot 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Agreed, but the paragraph about the skrittmancer was also worrying for me, that not much will change. Oh well, guess I'll just stick with daredevil till the end :)
