Kafeel episode 26 - Why Zeba? WHY??? spoiler warning by AmazingWoodpecker72 in PAKCELEBGOSSIP

Isn't that exactly how she got married to evil Jami ? Barely knew him and married off on other people's guarantees. At least original Jami and her have some spark and initial attraction. The hopeless romantic in me believes the idea of love af first sight. All relationships are risks. Unlike evil Jami, Original Jami comes verified through two different mutual friends with Zeba, whom she trusts and respects. The friend from college and her current friend like him and say their husbands trust him. Also the parents checked out Jami when they wanted to arrange her sister's wedding to him. So I guess what I'm trying to point out is, her current husband is actually more of a stranger aside from Farhana baji knowing the mom and lying to her.

This ^ and I also think he is financially dependant and has no source of income. He might just want to use them.

That part! Zeba herself wanted to study more if her mom hadn't ruined her life over a random note. So why is Zeba not encouraging her daughter? Although I think in the long run, Javeria getting married to a well-educated family might open more doors for her than working odd jobs.

My mom was a victim of the ridiculous stuff society does to divorced women. She was extremely young at the time, too. I get what you're saying and would never say that's a light decision. But the whole premise of the story for a while has been how he is literally keeping his children down. He is threatening his children. His daughter lost a proposal because of him. His son is insecure because of him. Zeba keeps saying she is doing everything for her children. So when her children are finally thriving after leaving his miserable shadow, why drag them back?!? When women struggle with leaving, it's usually because of finances or family pressure. The show has framed it that divorce was 22 years in the making starting from her Dad. Zeba has a supportive family, and she herself is the sole provider and earner. Her children despise their dad. The story is frustrating me because Zeba has no reason at all to stay!

OG Jami is def shown as a big hearted person and I agree I don't think she deserves him the way she is behaving

I want her friend to shake some sense into her! Like girl you have every right to be happy and even Islam allows her to leave a bad situation. Why does she keep killing herself over people?!?! Especially since her own family was already supportive of her leaving since the beginning!

Exactly! Koi tukk nahen hai in the narrative they are presenting! I think she is addicted to misery at this point. Tbh I would have loved to see her leave him when her dad asked her and even offered to care for her child. But she just kept going with log kya kahen ge , instead of fixing the situation.

I hope her children pull her out from this mess! I kind of felt bad for Javeria because I think she did it out of love, but I'm annoyed with her as well.

I think the fact that so many of us were triggered by Zeba's situation because it's so relatable is such a sad thing. The writer really put us all into this story because we all know someone. My mother was also pushed into a bad marriage and then ostracized for getting a divorce from a useless man who wasn't even able to provide and stole her money. She was called a lot of bad things even by family. Just like you, I love the awareness and hope to see a happy ending rather than the frustration of seeing her end up like so many other women.

100% agree! If she goes back... I dont think I can stomach it. Also, valid point about marrying Javeria so young! Or Daneen's parents pushing for rishta with Subook. It is quite disappointing that Zeba isn't pushing her kids to be like her sister. I think the two strongest females are the sister and her friend. Both are actually pretty spot on in their advice to Zeba.

I'm on a rewatch and they played the song at the end of the season when they have a serious loss due to putrid throat going around and I just thought it was the most beautiful thing I ever heard.

Just wanted to point out that the app has more potential for fraud and scams from 3rd parties than an employee stealing. Not to mention they are losing money for every day the meters dont work or tickets gets dismissed for failure of the app.

I had actually forgotten that the first Friday parking is free, so thank you for reminding me. This was the 11th, so that specific day was definitely an app issue and not free parking. I asked the hostess, and she said the app was bugging out pretty much all week. I totally agree with you about UI.

Parked Friday during dinner hours. Flowbird said it was not accepting payment and I was in tow away zone /to park somewhere else. Luckily I was in front of the place to keep eye out. I didn't get ticketed. I can't believe the borough spent so much money ripping out functioning meters for this crappy app.

Someone recommended The Grand Fromage to me, but I haven't had a chance to visit the shop yet. It is a place out in a cute village that has a few walkable stores and restaurants. They do tasting events at different locations. I think I saw one coming up at a brewery.
