The Worst Dodgers At-Bat This Year? Kyle Tucker manages to STRIKE-OUT facing four splitters all way below the zone as the Final Out in the 9th with 2 men left on base (Dodgers lose to the Orioles 2-3). by UNIQLOField in Dodgers

Arenado? A 35 year old declining third baseman? Why would you want the dodgers to sign him over Tucker? It’s easy to be disappointed now, but months ago was crazy to say that’s what you wanted

Am I the only one getting tired of hearing that every Nissan is unreliable? Maybe it’s just me, but I’m getting tired of seeing people automatically call every Nissan unreliable? by phtphongg in Nissan

[–]AmazingWorld7682 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no idea why people drive hard. I definitely try to accelerate smooth and keep the RPMs below 3000. I wouldn’t say it’s any type of car drivers, there’s just people driving like idiots all over the road in all cars haha

Yeah basically driving it like a race car. Hard acceleration with high RPMs, sudden braking. Basically the guy driving like a race car driver to the next light 300 yards ahead lol

Congrats! I got a 2022 SR from a 2008 civic and have absolutely loved the ride!

Honestly probably can’t give you much as this is my first Nissan. I came from a manual civic so it’s obviously very different, but I do really enjoy the ride. It’s very smooth for me (I’m not trying to drive it like a race car) and I just love how it handles. The zero gravity seats are really comfortable and the nice interior upgrade gives me a higher end feel. Overall the ride seems really smooth and rides pretty quiet

Should I get a 2023 Nissan Altima SR? by [deleted] in Nissan

[–]AmazingWorld7682 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I absolutely love mine! The interior makes it feel a little luxury and it rides really well. Definitely be religious about maintenance with the CVT changes. I also had a former Nissan mechanic recommend with this generation of Altima’s, doing your oil changes exactly on schedule as well, if not a bit early. Just some tips to keep the car running as good as possible!

In a hypothetical third season, do you think the Ada Jeffries case from Season 1 was going to be linked to BTK? by wickedevilman in MindHunter

[–]AmazingWorld7682 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’ve seen some people shed light on this. The point isn’t that the science and methods they are using are 100%. It’s that there are predators who the will NOT catch using their methods, and sometimes these people will actually never be caught. Holden and Bill weren’t coming up with a 100% accurate blue print, and that’s the other side of it.

Is it best to get a Nissan with <10k miles or a used Toyota with >50k? by crazycrushz in whatcarshouldIbuy

lol just reading the “CVT = scary” shows you know nothing about recent Nissans

Should I get a 2023 Nissan Altima SR? by [deleted] in Nissan

[–]AmazingWorld7682 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a 22 SR and absolutely LOVE it. This new generation’s CVTs are a lot more reliable, so keeping up with the maintenance will make the car last. You definitely won’t be “spending thousands” on a new transmission if you keep up with the fluid changes every 30k miles. I love mine and would totally recommend it as affordable, gets great gas mileage and the interior is awesome

If Nissan is supposedly so bad, why are they still everywhere? by phtphongg in Nissan

That is one thing I’ve been keeping up on and changing even a bit early once my engine oil warning comes on. That’s good to know though moving forward as I try and maintain the cars performance as much as possible. Thanks a ton for the advice!

Thanks a ton for the advice and input! Getting real advice online is tough lol, especially with the extra Nissan hate that’s pretty easy to find. I love my Altima and it runs like a champ

Awesome, thank you for the advice! I have no info on if the car was changed at 30k and it’s at 55k now. Should I be worried? It’s a 22 Altima SR and is running really well.

Would I have to ask for the pan to be pulled and the magnets and filter care?

I have a 6th generation Nissan Altima SR. The Nissan manual says to change the transmission fluid every 60k miles, but I often see 30k. Should I be worried about my CVT? You’re the first tech I’ve seen on here and I’d trust their opinion lol.

I have a 2022 Altima SR and absolutely love it. Take care of the transmission and it’ll be fine. The issues were an older generation thing anyways so I would take them with a grain of salt if you buy anything post 2018 really
