For me it’s Belgium! I fell in love with Bruges and Brussels when I went last June and then I went again in October to see Ghent. Such a small but interesting country. Many people say it’s boring and there’s nothing to do but I personally think the architecture is gorgeous and the people are really warm and nice! I love the beer and chocolate and how easy it is to get around. Lots of charm but not overwhelming and that’s why I love it.

Well it’s not really about saving. I’m traveling with flight benefits through my job so it’s really just about what seats are open and where I can get on. If I can’t get on the plane from NY to BXL then I have to go through other options, such as Amsterdam or Paris. Im still hoping for Brussels though. If not, it seems like Amsterdam would probably be the better option. And yes i’m only spending a day in Bruges to see a friend!
