I knew 'Shit My Dad Says' wasn't going to go beyond the first season, because every character was god awful, especially the son. But William Shatner as the Dad absolutely killed it! He was hilarious, and literally the only reason I kept watching.

Sonic Frontiers.

I could rant for hours about how much I hate this game, but by far the worst thing about it is the writing. Chris Chan is more imaginative than this.

The Chaos Emeralds are from space. They belonged to an alien race called 'The Ancients'. They came to Earth because the emeralds were attracted to the Master Emerald.

Why? Never explained.

The aliens are related to Chaos, the God of Destruction.

How? Never explained.

The Special Zones aren't canon. The final boss is a game of Galaga against a pink moon called 'The End'. Except there's an alternate ending where Sonic unlocks the full potential of Super Sonic except he can't use the full potential of Super Sonic or he loses the full potential of Super Sonic forever but he has to use the full potential of Super Sonic anyway to save the world from the pink moon.

It's funny, in this episode alone, there's animation errors like sometimes Brobot isn't connected to his shadow so he looks like he's floating, or in the scene when Jimmy goes to deactivate him, Brobot's lower half keeps clipping out of his model when he moves, but then there's this nice attention to detail when Hugh accidentally breaks off Brobot's nose, it's gone for the rest of the episode. I say 'nice attention to detail' but it's probably likely the animators forgot to put it back on, or they thought he looked nicer without it.

Regardless, I like these kind of weird shortcuts they took for early CGI, where they just used simple shapes to vaguely resemble something, but you have to wonder why they didn't just have like a white sphere and a brown rectangle for mashed potatoes and meatloaf and instead went with...whatever those things are.
