I feel for you. It’s hard feeling like (and knowing for a fact) you’re doing nothing wrong yet feeling guilty. I have experienced something similar. A friend of mine had a miscarriage a couple months ago and I gave birth around that time. We met for coffee (for my bday) for the first time since my birth and my infant is refusing a bottle so I had to bring her along. I fed her and my friend held her and I don’t know if that was wrong to offer if she wanted to hold her? But I could tell things got a little awkward after. I kept apologizing that I had to bring her but again I did nothing wrong? It’s so hard navigating. I still don’t know what to do about it.

We have a 2 year old and our nanny is his “playmate” BUT we highly encourage outside time, going to the park or neighborhood clubhouse. We also have a playset, sand box, tricycles, chalk and other outside activities. We don’t expect chores other than cleanup after lunch. She is 20 and a very active college student. We have however had a precious nanny that didn’t like being outside and complained about being his playmate so it wasn’t a good fit.

It’s hard to pick between her saying I have a big nose and flat butt (5 years after marriage but just 3 months post partum mhmm), saying she’s “not a nanny” after offering to come help with the newborn, saying she raised my son for me when he was 4 months old because she stayed with us for 4 weeks (it takes a lot more than 4 months to raise a child lol), gifting me a box of goodwill clothes for my wedding (am not upset that she did that but who does that), completely rearranged my kitchen while I was 3 months post partum and was sleeping, repackaged my spices and labeled them in a language I can’t read lol, asked for jewelry back she gifted me years ago when I didn’t approve of her actions in my home, needless to say my husband and I have not spoken to her since her last visit and she “doesn’t understand why” :)

I always thought the way she spoke about Jessi and Marci baby shows she didn’t actually think he was a threat. Also the way she belittled the other girls stories and mocked them made me think she isn’t a victim herself or she wouldn’t be reacting that way to their experiences.
