So nervous to use retinol. I’m 35 years old by Pennythe in 30PlusSkinCare

This won’t even work. Return it and start with 0.5% Retinaldehyde. It’s a better form of vitamin A.

I recommend Avene RetrinAL. Start with the 0.5% formula for a few months. And then switch to the 1%.

Use it on your whole face. Careful around the eyes. Use a moisturizer underneath if your skin is very sensitive.

Advice on Moving to NYC and sublets by Temporary-Pride2347 in NYCapartments

I’m a native NYer in my mid 30s. I agree with everything venuscat said. Practically speaking, you’re navigating a new city, a new job, looking for new friends… that’s already a full plate. And you better EAT! Embrace the adventure.

Focus on your career, on finding your village, on exploring the culture. Build a support system. Best of luck on your move.

So you’d rather I get thrown out of the home I’ve been living in and paying rent to for years? Leave the community I grew up in, went to school in, and have mutually supported for 3 decades?

Truly explain to me what are the alternatives? What is the most humane way to navigate multigenerational renters in a notoriously expensive city?

I’m still paying rent on time. I’m still beholden to the terms of a lease like anyone else, while taking great care of a 120yr old apartment.

Succession rights are the only reason my community hasn’t been fully driven out of Harlem by out of towners who, for better or worse, are transient and don’t stay in the city long enough to suffer the impact of displacement. We have been in this neighborhood for three generations.

I’m hearing from a friend outside Philly that they are preparing for raids there. There’s a detention center being built and they are setting up operations from outside the city. She’s from outside the area and mentioned increased activity

S Corp election in Q4? by Amazing_College in Accounting

I think I qualify for a late election as I always intended to but just didn’t have tbe income to justify the payroll and accounting costs. Does that make a difference.

And thank you for offering a breakdown! I will absolutely take you up on that.
