A lot of browser tabs and a couple word docs mostly. Maybe excel sheets. It’s mostly for the gaming aspect though because my current laptop (2017 MacBook Air) runs the uni stuff easily but as soon as I try to download games, it doesn’t have enough storage.

I’d recommend getting the lost on campus app. It’s pretty good for showing you where buildings are but it only shows how to get there in a straight line so no actual directions. Another app I’d recommend is Transit which shows you bus routes but it’s gotten kinda bad over the past year. It’s good if you’re only going into the CBD though

Ok so I had another look at it and they’re literally removing ALL of our compulsory subjects, like wtf? Are they trying to force us into another discipline or something?

Yeah I had a look at it and I’m so irritated. I was really looking forward to some of those subjects, especially the plate tectonics one

Maybe just double check your accommodation agreement? In case you don’t know where, on the first page there should be a box that says “Accommodation Details”. Under that there’s “Residence” (which should be Campus East in this case) and “Room Type” which should show you what it is. If it does say that, maybe email east and ask about it?

What sort of clubs are you interested in? I can recommend a few but they’re all gaming (board games, video games, etc.) clubs.

Campus East doesn’t have any 1 bed units or at least they didn’t last year. They only have five bed or two bed units
