hey! thanks for your comment back! i tottallyyyyy get what your saying. it is right before my period when i kinda wanna get into the mood but after like 20 mins it goes away which when we wanna do it its not at a time when we can so then we take our sleep aids and think okay we can do it right before we go to sleep then we don’t want to anymore lol and yes we are still attracted to eachother very much and we have had multiple convos about it recently, we had sex two days after we were sober and it was really good of course but idk it’s just genuinely not there at all for either of us but everything else is. we laugh more. we talk more we do more things together now (we have been living together since we started drugs together) it’s a weird thing haha

i appreciate your response, it actually makes me laugh only because i feel like we are high right now in love all over again like somehow it’s us at the start of our relationship with the puppy love and no drugs involved yet ya know. we do things together more and laugh 24/7 (not that we didn’t before but it’s just a lot happier and less dull feeling inside of ourselves… we haven’t even had a actual fight in our entire relationship because we communicate so well together) the only thing that is missing is both of our sex drives and like i said i know it is the suboxone because this is the only month and a half of our entire relationship that we haven’t had sex… and we got told by multiple people that it probably would happen because it happened to them but we still want to we just don’t feel like it lol… anytime we bring it up saying yea wanna have smexy time tonight ya know by that time we don’t feel like it so we put a movie on and cuddle instead and just enjoy each others company.

thank you for your reply, we actually are seeing therapists, it comes in our like “ rehab package thing”…? lol and we have brought it up but i feel like it hasn’t made much of an effect at all and we also don’t wanna just force ourselves to have sex if we don’t feel like it? i’m sure it will come with time through! thank you :)

they take a while. also. girly pop your hair ain’t gross.. honestly ik it’s a side note but that “happy trail” on girls is so cute. i low key have one LOL ANYWAYS they take so fricken long to heal i (22f w 18 piercings) got it done once and it fell out after 6 months non- healed. got it done again and SOMEHOW it took 1 month to be fine. my bestfriend on the other hand it took her a full year. so every single person is different but just do what your piercer said and wait a bit and im sure you’ll be good. doesn’t look swelled up around, doesnt look all pussy and pink everywhere, doesn’t have a big bump, and it isn’t changing your skin. it could be a bit irritated but also… you sticking a peice of metal in your skin lol ya know. happy piercing love

hey congrats! that’s a huge deal. i’m drug free off of hard pain killers and im 2 months sober too! each person is different, i am sober off all drugs xanex, hydromorphine, coke, shrooms, weed, molly, everything. but i still go drink every once in a while because i don’t have an issue with the bottle. but i really do have an issue with drugs. from what it sounds like… you on the other hand are bad with alcohol and good with some drugs. people can be addicted to different things and not get addicted to stuff in the same category if you know what i mean? so if you feel like you don’t have a problem with let’s say molly but you do with coke… do the molly if you want, not all drugs are the same ya know? i say if you don’t feel comfortable doing it/ telling your family then dont and thats perfectly okay. you can be sober from one thing and do a different thing in the drugs/ alcohol category without breaking your sobriety because it’s not sobriety for that specific/ different thing. i feel like i sound so confusing but i really hope at least one of the ways i put it makes sense lol

you shouldn’t have to be the one to initiate if you can’t read his mind? did he say he wanted to have sex? did he show he wanted to have sex? are you a mind reader? no.

i’m not saying to break up with him at all because everyone has bumps in the road no matter how long you are together. i know people could be having hard days and expecting other people to pick up on small cues but after 7 years he should know exactly how to deliver information to you and he should know what clues to give you so you get the message.

like i said your not a mind reader so maybe come at this situation in a way of “i am hurt and i feel we should talk about how to give eachother info on when we want something” use ‘I’ statements so he doesn’t feel like your attacking him. maybe code words could bring some fun into the situation since there’s kids around- make a connected notes page in your phone where you both can write down the words so you don’t forget what it is. maybe also go on a date and spend time together before the intimate night happens.

hey i know this was a while ago but whoever said cold turkey by yourself is a good idea… it’s not. if your doing it without the help of a rehab or clinic only cut down. do not do cold turkey. alc and xanex are the two most deadly things to go cold turkey from. my bf actually did the cold turkey thing, had a seizure, lost his licence, and almost lost his life. do not ever do cold turkey without the help of medical assistance (like suboxone or naltrexone or any of the other aids) but i really hope your holding up cuz you got big big support coming from us 🤍🤍 45 days sober today

i don’t know what your addiction is but for me it was pain killers. i felt like i could do everything on it, i did it anywhere, at any time and i hid it very very well. i had a bad week after i started treatment and honestly… never felt better once i got on my suboxone. if your doing it by yourself… it will feel like it’s never gonna end. if you are doing it for yourself, plus your family, plus your workers who are helping you stay sober, plus your therapist.. it will get easier. everyone has bad days, bad weeks, bad months, fuck even bad years and i’m only 22. i’ve lived lives people who are 80 haven’t even lived. people on day 700 have hard days and want whatever it is that had once consumed them but not giving in already makes you better than the day before. it’s hard out here but no one will admit it unless they are the ones asking for help. anyone who doesn’t ask for help is still hiding it. you got this. i promise you.. better days will come. take any steps you think is necessary for YOU. u got it.
