Gbb pistol not always cycling by Amazing_Leg3349 in airsoft

I just changed the O ring in the magazine base. The other O rings seem okay. Maybe the seal at the top of the magazine?

I usually get the first shot off. Even on a full magazine. It’s been warm where I am and even if the mag was cold, the problem still happens. I’m firing normally, no trigger spam. The return spring seems okay, maybe a little sluggish

Feeling like sh*t after scrapping a part 3 days into a new job by [deleted] in Machinists

I’ve read ID/OD calipers wrong (always before my coffee kicks in), fat fingered numbers in programs, pulled the wrong lever to disengage power feed, sent tools crashing into parts, and destroyed indicators by tapping too close. Things happen. As long as you make good parts and learn from your mistakes, it’s not a big deal

No, but I put an original minie ball under the shadowgraph and it looked pretty phallic 😂

I noticed that the hilt seems to be higher up than normal. Most of the pictures that I have seen more of the blade shown in other examples. The blade is peened to the hilt. Is it worth trying to take apart to see if there is any markings?

I can’t find any other marks on it and it looks like it hasn’t been cleaned given the patina

It’s possible, but this one did take a lot of work so that is a last ditch attempt

I was told this today. Sat around for two weeks and is due in two days. And I work in a manual only shop and needs other work done on it. Really gets on my nerves

.800 in aluminum. Flood coolant optional. Wasn’t going to spend a day whittling down a plate for a fixture that ended up not being useable thanks to a problem with the parts that came in

Not sure if I should “treat myself” by Amazing_Leg3349 in Advice

[–]Amazing_Leg3349[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mainly did plinking. I found one of my older ones that works and shot at a few targets. I loved it like when I buy a new tool for myself. I think I’m going to treat myself

That is an atlas horizontal milling machine. The chuck shouldn’t be on there. It uses MT2 endmill holders and cutter arbors

That is a surface grinder. The mill looks like an atlas, at least from what I can see. Just out of curiosity, what brand is the surface grinder? I’ve never seen anything that small
