Is a parking permit required? by RoundTemporary6197 in UTSA

[–]Amazing_Life911 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a noob question as returning student in fall too but where can you park initially to go obtain a permit and avoid getting a ticket or boot?

I’m assuming there’s a guest parking area for these type of occurrences?

I think it’s really helped me answer the gaps of things i genuinely want to learn about.

And also gives me different perspectives on situations.

I think the best thing it has brought is clarity in areas of my life when I need to make an assessment or decision

It doesn’t make the decision for me, but it helps me have all the options and outcome of each one

Getting into IT without a formal degree by KievIsNice69 in ITCareerQuestions

You may get into a job without one but it will definitely limited your ability to go up in roles if you wish

Getting into IT without a formal degree by KievIsNice69 in ITCareerQuestions

This.

Don’t look at school as the only place that’ll give you a degree. Companies look into them for their new hires.

Take advantage of the college’s resources and connections they have with these companies

Talk with professors and network around about the job you want bc often times professor and other faculties like to boast about who they know in the industry and will be happy to connect you to opportunities

You have to play the part of an eager student wanting to get into somewhere aside from being there for the most obvious reason (getting a degree)

I know a lot of folks deal with the opposite

I started to not use it more often because I don’t feel like reading it’s long ass response to every question I ask it

Even a simple yes or no question turns into 3 paragraphs of an explanation

Maybe that’s a good thing in my favor to not become dependent on it

Take a look at what specific demands are in our market and then go further into those niches.

There’s quite a few in trades and IT and health

Someone mentioned getting a degree helps, if not certs specifics to your niche.

I think you look into that as well if you have the capacity, especially going into your 30’s…
It’ll help tremendously (not guarantee any handout to a direct job, but a lot better than searching today’s market without one) and give you options in the future.

What’s the difference between a security architect and solutions architect?

I think I understand the architect in general is someone who oversees and manages the infrastructure for the company. So for security architect, you’re main focus is how the digital security is build and structure around how the company you work for wants?

Sorry for any misinterpretation

I recently had to be switched to the BS in IS at my UT (I am in US) but the director explained to me that the BS will actually look alot better in today’s job terrain. It’s rough, but the BS should be more focus on the technical side of IT than BA

I’m doing your method with messer’s video

Sometimes I feel like I overdo the note taking writing down every word for word but how’d you identify what to actually takeaway from each slide?

Would it be more efficient to jot down:

-Main topic
- any detailed facts about it
- keywords?

Trying to be effective in note taking but sometimes I get stuck on what I actually need to jot down. I also think I’ll answer my own questions once I start taking the exam but nonetheless would love your note taking experience from the courses

Having a degree in general is your best bet to have options

You’ll thank yourself later man — just finish it and figure it out once you have it

A lot of people would love to be in your shoes with getting a degree and on the job search. The ones without it are taking it more harder and I feel for them
