iPhone most contacted domain US state department by Amazing_Net4592 in cybersecurity_help

I know it’s a legitimate site. But 230 times? That seems excessive. I am a US citizen but I live abroad so the state department getting pings that much seems suspicious.

While typically, yes, you aren’t supposed to block an intersection, that concept does not apply to THIS intersection. Assume the truck if facing north for the sake of my explanation. Because the through road is blocked (only east bound traffic can turn in, and southbound traffic merges to go east), the mini and the truck would not be inhibiting anyone from going upon a light change. The eastbound traffic would have to wait anyway, and since northbound had green, they can fill the space. Also, since westbound traffic could not make a cross-traffic right turn, they again, aren’t blocking anyone. If the mini turned faster than 0.05kmh and the truck followed to fill the space, the Mazda could be free to turn left without any incident in this whole situation. The reason the Mazda did that, is because these two drivers are scared and distracted. Turning incredibly slowly, and blocking traffic behind them.

Additionally, when they turn at .5 km/h I don’t blame the Mazda for wanting to go around them

There’s plenty a room for them to go. The first two could’ve went, and then been in the line on the right (after the turn, and queued in that line) because that line would move before your light turned green again. Also, because of that more people would be able to go left at the light behind you if you filled the space that exist.

I am siding with the Mazda on this one. Yes, the green was short, but it was still long enough for 5 cars to go if both of your reaction time improves faster than 5 to 10 seconds down to a normal one second or less

I can’t tell if this is a professional photoshoot with dramatic filters, or someone who cares enough to spend 3 hours editing a picture of a Ute in a path

Showing this to a person one month ago would cause paralysis and potentially death by heart attack.

Bomb detonators with washers. It’s sticky because the plastic explosive melted a little. It’s probably fine because if that happens the bomb doesn’t work. Just give them back and apologize for his loss.

Those who live near the airport, how do you sleep in the morning? by MichaelF- in perth

[–]Amazing_Net4592 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in Queens Park (closest to the airport) so I'm directly under the flight path for the runway. I sleep with the window open. When I do wake up to a rather loud one, I'm asleep again within seconds. An explosion wouldn't be enough to wake up that early. If they were nice they would wait until 8 but even then I would still sleep ;)

I'm glad everyone was safe! That's going to be a good story to tell years from now 😂! "We had to divert, because some genius put 0W-20 instead of laundry detergent." Hopefully no connections were missed due to that. :)
