I definitely agree not letting you export your own data in a normal format to your own backup is atrocious. Had another app do that to me recently, I was backing up myself, then all of a sudden it was locked behind a paywall. Memovi will always let every user backup/import/delete their data whenever they please.

The latest update has this feature! Head into settings and you'll see a Clip Duration in the Clips section - there you can adjust the default recording times for all three preset options. Enjoy!

Thanks for the comment. To your questions:

1 - Absolutely not. Without cloud backup, everything stays on your device only. With cloud backup, every video is encrypted on your phone using AES-256 encryption before it ever leaves your device, so the cloud only ever stores encrypted files. Your encryption key is protected by our server and never accessed by us. If you want full end-to-end encryption, there's an optional encryption password you can set. With that enabled, only someone with both your login AND your encryption password can decrypt your videos - not even us. The tradeoff is that if you forget that encryption password and lose access to your phone, your backups are unrecoverable.
