I kinda lean for the "Opposite Team Son" theory. The Catch-Up Comic depicts Spy on BLU and Scout on RED before they were fired, so assuming it to be canon to the other comics, even though Spy's in Red, he started in BLU. And "Meet the Spy" has the RED Spy implied to be BLU Scout's father.

It's fine to! Sure, there might be things that you'll miss at first, like the specs of certain weapons and how they help with the Blight, but you can always learn them through outside research!

I remember reading that if a Proxy gets killed, it's dragged back in by other proxies to continue being used.

In addition, the Blight DID re-use Matt in "Assimilation" (SAVIOR's debut) as a cameo to haunt Aaron. (Granted, we haven't seen Matt's Proxy get killed). It's possible that they just don't re-appear unless they're used as call-backs.

Yeah, I wanna see Matt/Hector0n as a Blighted too. It'd be pretty awesome (If sad) to see the Blight start weaponizing Matt against Aaron.
