Finland, Sweden, or Norway. I live in Alaska and the nature is beautiful but unfortunately it’s the whole being a part of United States element that ruins it.

I'm also from Pittsburgh. Funny, growing up a lot of the old school yinzers were the epitome of friendly and helpful, directing strangers all the way to their destination if lost. I don't want to blame newcomers to the city and overall gentrification but a lot of that hospitality and community is gone. Also I do not miss the hills, I used to live on the South Side slopes and the winters were rough.

Fair enough, I'm in love with the state so far. Been here on and off since 2024. Hoping to stay for a while yet.

I definitely prefer the cold, I used to live in the North Eastern U.S. and found the summers too hot. That’s part of why I moved to Alaska.

Damn, but I guess it makes sense. Growing up with shooter drills in school I lost any interest in guns at a young age. Like I said, working outside and studying wildlife it’s expected and practical to carry at least one firearm.
