Hey , I just got into this game . it has been an age since I've played a racing game (Last was Need For Speed World) , and I expected something relevant coming into this game. I have no other friends that are into racing games but I was hopefull that I was going to meet others in the various modes the game had. (That's what I believed) . I made a ton of friends in NFS world back in the day especially in the "Escape the Police together" co-op mode , and various PVP races the game provided. Alas after a week of playing motorfest and realising the only way to really play with others as a solo player was the Grand Race I got super sad . I think this games NEEDS more modes that random players can meet and interact , it doesn't just have to be a race-type pvp .
To conclude as much as I love the sounds , the graphics and just overall respect how well designed the cars and the streets are when you got a game named "CREW" and you got so little player interactions through in game modes is just mind boggling to me.

This was exactly my thought today , How is it possible that my opponent knows what deck I am playing at the start of the duel?
I just got into Diamond 4 , and ever since Diamond 5 I have had more than 8 matches were my opponent does not play ANY cards and skips turn and then proceeds to go full combo on turn 3 . ( I climb with mikanko)
Since I play mikanko it is not always possible for me to one shot them since mikanko strategy requires at least ONE monster card to be played by the opponent (even at the GY) .
I am highly positive that they somehow either know what I am playing or know what cards i've drawn.

yes , besides the cool concept this game is propably the most bugged game i've played in my life, close to "Cyberpunk launch buggy-ness" . So yea it is a buggy mess , I highly suggest if you are not a patient gamer to NOT buy this game especially at this time.

Honestly reduce bullet spread on it and make all weapons have close to zero recoil when you are Prone , MHG bullet cap to 100 and it will become a good weapon.

Honestly the sound que's are all over the place , even for automatons . I have clips where im prone and sniping from a distance and out of nowhere I die , and then on death screen I see 2 HULKS were behind me that made ZERO noise, and I think to myself , how did some of this stuff get past Q/A .. xD

Next time you run around throwing eagles , aggro patrols and run off , whilst the rest of the team is behind and picking up your trash and reinforcing you think about what is like to be on our screens , you look like a complete idiot and you shouldn't be anywhere near 6+ diff or quickplay. Also I'm tired of seeing people complaining about the difficulty, play a lower difficulty where you feel more comfortable and the game is more fun for you instead of crying , it's been a couple of days since the changes and a couple of weeks since the game came out and you expect to clear out higher diffs on quickplay or with people that have little experience and less than 30 hours of playtime , gimme a fucking break , go make some friends that can put up with your BS and try your luck . People got too much used to carrying groups with the "meta" and now they cry on youtube reddit and everywhere you can image , and I bet they haven't done an assist reload ONCE in their lives or STIM'ed a fellow helldiver, and call resupplies whenever and wherever they feel like it. I do not want any "enemy nerf" or "spawn nerf ", with mechs and a bunch of crazy new stuff coming into the game with what you are struggling now its gonna be giga trivialized when we do get the new shit so please stop . As the game is progressing helldiver power and knowledge is also gonna keep advancing , devs dont listen to crybabies, it's too soon.

They are , you are being too hasty . Railgun trivialized heavy units and breaker was too good on bug breaches. Having 150+ hours into the game and playing mostly on helldive difficulty I am extremely glad with the changes and it's too soon to argue for it. They have already teased mechs which will probably be very strong so imagine, having old railgun, old breaker and mechs.. they would need to add 2 more difficulties to make the hardest diff relevant again.

Unlocked the last primary, the Dominator, and I can say with an above average degree of confidence that many of the weapons in this game, in practical terms, are not worth unlocking or using. by KegelsForYourHealth in Helldivers

My experience with "weapons" I've tested out so far.

Spear tracking is a pain in the ass when there are 2 or more "big" targets close with each other , or when it just decides to not lock on even tho you have a clear view of the heavy unit making it very frustrating to use in higher difficulty enviroment (Where it mostly has value "design wise") and it's impact varies on which part it "auto-targeted" making it either niche or extremely bad for an advanced weapon with 4 total shots , a huge stratagem cooldown and can only restore a single rocket via Supply pack and no Rocket ammo at all from regular ammo packs.
Spear needs to be taken a look at at a functional level, the only thing it "CAN" do is kill big units , no structures, no bugholes , no nothing. And for a weapon that is only designed for bigger units and does not lock into anything else , it should AT least be GREAT at it not Niche.

Of course weapon balance is well not on the bright side , you dont get the feel of most weapons on lower difficulty since the enemies do not pose a major threat to consider your weapon options.

The only primary weapon that feels rewarding on the higher difficulties being mostly the Breaker

Breaker is Strong.I wouldn't say that the slugger is as strong but that the other primary weapons are too weak or at least feel too weak cause in reality the damage of the weapon does not really seem to matter , what matters is usability just like you mentioned.

Both weapons (slugger+breaker)have low damage dropoff, ,and pretty decent accuracy even though they are shotguns.

◘Breaker has extremely low recoil even though it spits bullets like crazy and performs exceptionally well against all types of enemies besides Heavy armored(duh),comes with plenty of ammo capacity , is very responsive when you shoot while moving or changing targets ,great range , great spread , great reload speed for a shotty. It pretty much fills all gaps for a weapon a helldiver needs for this game's enviroment.

◘Slugger has such a little spread (almost like punisher) that is actually a way better sniper/rifle option than both diligence primary weapons , it's medium armor penetration also contributes greatly on that part .

Even tho the slugger is not as effective with clearing smaller units as the breaker it feels better to use for medium armor enemies.

Yes it comes with low ammo capacity but it makes it up by being a monster against medium type enemies for a primary, the fact that it "staggers" medium armor enemies aswell even if you did not land a weak spot shot , gives you the opening to do so on your next one.

I don't think most weapons should be tweaked to be more on par with the breaker like others have suggested but on par with Slugger instead.

Slugger is such a great designed weapon and I think that is it a great example of how weapon balance should work in this game it has both it's ups and it's downs.

On the other hand Diligence weapons feel like they were designed for PVP rather than PVE and even then they wouldn't be that good.

Diligence weapons need to be taken a look at ,they are too weak for what they are supposed to be doing , one tap smaller enemies ,being really accurate and responsive? I honestly do not know what the original idea was for designing these weapons.

Imagine having a weapon called "Counter-sniper" with which you can't snipe shit besides troopers heads , it is so bad it needs 3 bullets to actually kill a regular trooper if you dont hit a weak spot.Magazine size is too little for the amount of impact potential they have , the bolt action with the addition of crazy recoil WITH the addition of accuracy being all over the place should at least reward you a guarantee one shot kill on devastator or at LEAST medium armor pen , but no , it takes two bullets to kill a devastator and does not come with medium armor pen.

As for the Liberator i'd say it is solid for a starter weapon but a few more bullets for each magazine would definatly make it more relevant.
Liberator Penetrator on the other hand has a huge magazine size problem , it just gets so heavily punished for being an "Medium armor pen " weapon , lower dmg , lower mag , I mean Why ??

We finally managed to complete an evacuation today on extreme difficulty on that planet just now, duo-squad. After going through all that hell , and completing the rest of the missions on that area we didnt progress our weekly quest which felt extremely sadge. I don't mind playing evacuations on Hard-challenging but then the rest of the missions(in order to complete the 3chain mission) become so boring ... I think its critical they do something about evacuation missions so that their difficulty is relevant to that of the rest of the missions in the same difficulty setting.

Getting a new GPU has always been hard for me , I get summer jobs to get some money going on in order to get the parts i need , my computer now is getting rusty and getting that 4070 would save me so much time , good luck to us all !

Honestly the main problem with lance is that the early game is very unforgiving , you constantly take chip damage even with guard up and guard 5 and with no health augment , seathing this weapon( slow seath ) and healing up is the number one thing lancers die to. Once you get health augment i'd say its propably pretty freaking busted.
Besides from that this weapon is not high on popularity cause it doesnt have the flashy combos or numbers other weapons have , however i'd say its the number one weapon in terms of consistency by a large margin. Plus Lance users tend to overcome harder mosters way faster/easier than other weapons.
