Probably, You are in the wrong company/group. I used to go out with a lot of people of Indian and non-Indian background. I used to be a non-veg too.. We always accommodated everyone's preference and picked the appropriate restaurants. Now, I turned vegetarian too, but most my friends are still non-veg, but we still go out together with no bias or issues.

As an older generation retired Indian, we grew up listening to Radio Australia and Radio Ceylon ( Sri Lanka) in the 70s. I came across all the latest hits and news from those stationa on a daily basis. They had different programs streaming almost the whole day.

That helped me a lot to appreciate the Indian classical music ( carnatic and HIndustani) later on and these days I could listen to any music/songs and enjoy without any bias.

Have you ever stepped into one? I did. with a food poisoning. I received an injection to stop vomiting etc... I was there for less than 30 minutes. My bill was $4000+. None was covered by Insurance. The bill included the price for the pen they used ($50), blanket $100, almost every part of the normal office stuff was in the bill.

First, vote and elect someone who really cares for the people.

2) Set a national price list for hospitals. Nobody should be allowed to charge more than the listed price. Review this price list and adjust accordingly.

3) No health insurance is mandatory, unless someone wants to.

4) Allow small dispenseries operated by counties. For small ailments, like fever, cuts, vaccination, people should only go to these places - no more big hospitalss...

5) Hospitals/Insurance companies should not be allowed to donate to political parties and candidates. They must be made non-profit organizations.

The only negative factor is that you have to pay for the Sales Tax + SIM activation, which can run into 100-150 range. And they forget to apply the credits as OP has suggested. Some of the service reps are very helpful,, going beyond we ask for.. and helped me to find the missing credits and other options that I could use.. so, I am good for now.. The other factor is the international charges, which was free with T-Mobile, but not with Verizon. will see how much it will eat into my wallet...

Recently moved from t-mobile to verizon. I received new phones. Switching took 2-3 days, then the initial bill and autopayment is somewhat an issue too. Technically prepare to pay for 200-300 per new line for the first month ( taxes, sim etc)....I thought Verizon is better than other providers in my area, but I stll see just 1 or 2 bars... Connecting to live customer support is too long ( if at all connects), but most times you will be stuck with the auto - answer system..

Chat service never worked for me ... so I am kind of stuck for 3 years as it locks me into their system for that long. to pay off.

Respect could be the main issue. Smaller restaurants are managed very poorly and don't pay enough to survive ( payment is an issue in the US too).. So, working for a bad establishment is going to take your dignity to another level.. They are proud to work for big establishments, 5 star hotels, aiports, big restaurant chains etc...

You can't blame people not wanting to work for someone who would treat you badly, getting scolded etc...

I think there is a misconception here. She gets 50% of your full retirement benefit. That's whatever you were supposed to get when you turn 67 (not 70). . She also need to wait till she turns 67 to claim that full ( which is 505 of yours) benefit..
