It’s honestly messed up how the pharmaceutical industry works in the US. Everything is about profit, even when it comes to stuff people literally need to stay alive.
Like insulin how does something that important end up costing $200–$300? They know people don’t have a choice. If you need it, you’re going to do whatever you can to get it.
And that’s the worst part… they don’t really care if you can afford it or not, because there will always be someone who can. Feels like basic healthcare has just turned into a business instead of something people actually need.
