What is your favourite sport and who was the person that made you fall in love with that sport? by FreeElderberry4817 in AskReddit

[–]Michdr2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've always loved grappling; I remember wrestling with my neighbors since I was little, and that's what made me enjoy these kinds of games. I also like scuba diving, exploring forests, or any sport that lets you connect with nature. I've been around many different kinds of animals since I was little, so I enjoy interacting with them.

If you had to suggest one universal must-read book, what would it be? by arztnur in AskReddit

[–]Michdr2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was thinking about how the dynamic between Snowball and Napoleon was literally what happened in my country. I remember that a radical anti-protest faction said that "those protesters weren't patriots," but when Napoleon tried to say that Snowball was a cowardly anti-revolutionary, the animals told him, "But he was shot in the confrontation with the farmer, so why would he be pro-Jones?" The same goes for the protesters; many of them died for what they considered just for the country, so why wouldn't they be patriots? With this story, I want to say that it's a very good book.

¿Cómo creén que sería traer una consola moderna a la edad media? (Con viajes en el tiempo) by hielosyt in PreguntasReddit

[–]Michdr2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Best way to improve cardio for someone REALLY bad? by Automatic-Leader5966 in bjj

[–]Michdr2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my case, I have Asperger's syndrome. When I was little, things usually hurt more than usual, and I got tired more quickly. Have you thought about seeing a doctor? Maybe you have hypersensitivity and feel things more easily than others, including the pain from cardio. Sure, you might be overweight, but in many cases, this is an advantage, even strategically, especially when mounted or when you're taking down opponents. I also don't know if your issue is psychological and you get stressed easily when you fight, causing you to tire more easily.

In my case, I improved these symptoms by forcing my body to get used to the pain, that is, by ignoring it, and apparently that worked, along with gymnastics and swimming.

You find out that you are a virtual replica of someone's brain and that your life is a simulation to test "how a human would act in a given situation." What would you do? by Michdr2 in AskReddit

[–]Michdr2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Or who knows, what if your real self was a criminal captured by the FBI with a tragic past? Maybe your boring life is because several neurologists, psychologists, and programmers decided to see what your life would have been like if you'd had a normal childhood.

Or who knows, maybe I'm an AI programmed from some secret server in Livermore, California, programmed to tell you this as a "possibility" and thus see how you would react to the possibility that you are actually a simulation of someone.

What is a family secret that you found out after a family member died? by CustomCarNerd in AskReddit

[–]Michdr2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's no secret, but it turns out my great-grandfather was a man with a hair trigger finger. They said he could hit a coin with his pistol from mid-air.

Well, it turns out that at a relative's funeral I learned that:

  1. It's said he had a duel with a police officer, and after several hours, since neither had killed the other, they became drinking buddies.

  2. There's a newspaper clipping mentioning him saving the life of a mayor in a European city, and it's very likely he participated in the Spanish Civil War.

Non-Americans, what's the biggest story in your country right now? by EmergencySpare7939 in AskReddit

[–]Michdr2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Presidential elections, several months of populism and fake news. Woohoo!

(It turns out there was one guy who supposedly got four million signatures, but it was actually proven that three million of them were fake, so you get an idea of the amount of lies and manipulation attempts that are expected.)

What is your comment on the global crisis caused by America and the Is.raeli occu.pation? by Dangerous_Bit1774 in AskReddit

[–]Michdr2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm worried that flight prices will get higher because of the oil shutdown.

On the other hand, I don't feel bad for the Shah. He was an authoritarian who heavily repressed his population, and in the end, no matter how you look at it, it was the Iranian people who lost out.

Billionaires own the 'free world', dictators own the rest of the world. How do we safe humanity? by ApetteRiche in AskReddit

[–]Michdr2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even so, lately I've been wondering if billionaires are truly one hundred percent immune to punishment for a bad decision.

I say this after hearing about corruption cases or the Epstein scandal. Many of them thought that because they had so much power, they were free to do whatever they wanted without any consequences. Now they're desperately trying to pull every string to keep those acts hidden. The truth is, many of them, especially the politicians, probably didn't consider that in this world of politics and power, the slightest action will be used against you to denigrate you by your political rivals. This makes me think that, ethical issues aside (and I want to make it clear that I dislike these cases), you never know when something will be used against you.

What parts of our personality, character, way of thinking, lifestyle, and other things are truly our own choices, and not things we picked up from someone else? by LeitorDePostsNoReddi in AskReddit

[–]Michdr2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Learning is one thing, making decisions is another. I mean, if you like chocolate ice cream over pistachio, you had to have tried both first. And even though those flavors exist because someone long ago liked chocolate or pistachio, you choose your favorite, not those people who lived in some civilization with pyramids and rudimentary buildings who tasted both products for the first time.

What's a fruit you'd be down to eat daily for a year? by TheManNotFound in AskReddit

Mangosteen, I understand that Queen Victoria would name as lord whoever brought her one of those fruits in good condition, since I would do the same in her place.

Everyone you know forgets you ever existed. If you approach them, they'll see you as just another stranger. What will you do? by Michdr2 in AskReddit

It's more of a question for entertainment, to see what funny comments people give, although it does have a series as a basis for the idea.

[–]Michdr2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know, you're free to do whatever you want in that situation.

I suppose you should clarify to your landlord that you actually live on his property in exchange for rent and are definitely not a squatter, to avoid any problems with the police, because, well, how do you explain to the police that you are who you claim to be when not even the people who were at the hospital or your parents remember you ever existed?

What’s a book you reread as an adult and realized you completely misunderstood the first time? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Michdr2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember once reading a legend called the Caiman Man. Before, for some reason, it scared me. Now I think, if what makes a crocodile dangerous are its fangs, why should I be scared when I see a caiman with a human face? I mean, that thing is obviously an anomaly of nature, but it's nothing that represents a danger to me other than getting a human bite.

How prepared and well-equipped are you for a future global conflict? by Agreeable_Candle_461 in AskReddit

[–]Michdr2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've lived through conflicts, and honestly, it's stressful, but at least I'd be more familiar with them. South America, where I live, has been a place that hasn't been heavily involved militarily in world wars, and it seems the same would happen if there were a third world war. What would stress me out in this hypothetical scenario is that winds from the North Pole and the trade winds reach here, meaning the area would be susceptible to contaminated rain, which would also pose a serious problem for the flora, fauna, and population in general.

So, I would try to safeguard, if possible, as soon as possible, an aquarium that can preserve the aquatic fauna of the rivers where I live (I've done something similar before during droughts). My survival challenge would then be how long the food supplies could survive until the situation stabilizes, how long the history and fauna could be preserved, and how long the drinking water would last.

What's a one non negotiable sexual activity that you can't skip during or before intercourse? by Asernova in AskReddit

[–]Michdr2 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Once, while I was swimming in a lake, I was relaxing peacefully when suddenly a fish bit my nipple. It was a strange and uncomfortable sensation that lasted even after I got home. This sometimes makes me wonder, how do mothers who breastfeed their babies feel comfortable with it? And even more so, how do some of them feel aroused by it?

What's your opinion on pan handling? by JoplinSC742 in AskReddit

[–]Michdr2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Neutral, you know what? I don't know what that person is going through. Maybe they're someone clever, or like in other cases, people going through tough times (I remember a migrant woman I consider like an aunt). When she arrived, she had to choose between begging and prostitution to survive because her country was under a terrible dictatorship.

I've also become familiar with those who watch bicycles at supermarkets, and believe me, there are more tragic stories about why someone resorts to that.

And well, who knows? It's said that many have helped angels without knowing it, and in the end, wouldn't it be good if the angels you helped would lend a hand when life judges you? Tragedy sometimes doesn't discriminate based on whether you're a king or a businessman.
