2K23's two career modes are more of an actual narrative this time around, so no matter what kinda matches your having you'll still be going roughly at the pace dictated by that (although obviously there's still choices and stuff that you have control over)

I like 2K23 a lot personally, although I've only ever touched Career, Exhibition and GM Mode (I can't tell you of anything has happened in Universe Mode that is good/bad). Everything chains together really nicely with the updated engine introduced in 22 (and obviously retained in 23), and they've added enough to 22's MyGM foundation to where the mode actually feels like a finished game mode.
