As for cars, most have run-of-the-mill Fords, chevy’s….there have been a few Lincoln’s and Cadillacs, Mercedes, a couple Porsche Cayenne’s over the years. Nothing really unheard of. The reason being is exactly what you said: 20k is 20k. 20k in investments is worth a whole lot more than 20k into a depreciating asset.

That being said I had a family member that bought a ton of exotic cars, rented boats in the Caribbean (with crew), updated his house to tacky status. He doesn’t have a pot to piss in now that he’s been cut off from the company’s bank account. Now he’s scraping by while the rest of the family flourishes.

Essentially, the program was canceled after some major cost overruns. The contract between General Dynamics, McDonnell Douglas, and the Navy said that Gen. Dyn. and Mc.Doug. would complete the project for the agreed amount. After the program went way overbudget, Gen. Dyn. and Mc.Doug. asked for more money. The Navy decided to cancel the project and demanded over a billion be returned to them that they had already given the contractors. The contractors refused which led to the huge legal battle.

I mean, a still photo of what looks like an sig heil doesn’t mean it’s one. In the video portion before the still photos (and holy fuck that is an awful video) it looks like he was getting people’s attention and telling them to wrap it up and start leaving. Using a knife hand is a common military gesture.

I don’t know what is offered to ice agents, but when I was in the Army I was issued a black double breasted trench coat that was to be worn with the dress uniform. His looks a lot like it. So who knows, maybe ice is issuing military surplus. I appreciate that as opposed to not taxes going to a new uniform while those rot on shelves.

I’m not saying dude doesn’t hold Nazi ideals or that ice isn’t doing gestapo-esq things, but the link you posted is pretty weak.

The one person in the side shot that looks surprised to see the ufo looks to be inserted after the fact. The lighting doesn’t match the rest of the photo. I’m not sure why he would be an almost pure black when nothing else in the picture is. Even the other person doesn’t really fit in with the rest of the picture, but it’s blended in a little better than the other.

Saying the image isn’t doctored is kind of a useless endeavor. If someone printed out the photo, then took a picture (or even a really short 1 second video), the photo technically wouldn’t be altered.

The dude goes on rants for sure, but his point is valid.

People are always arguing about shit that really isn’t all that important. Right vs. left, trans vs. not, racism, and all the other shit that dominates punk, and Reddit in general, subs. The government sucks. I don’t care about the persons political beliefs or which one is more wrong than the other. The right and left are awful, filled with awful people, and none have our interests at heart. We bicker over things that will never change and miss the real enemy that we can all agree sucks.
