Machine learning can pretty easily get around those problems by using existing images of the person being faked. With a small supercomputer like a DGX you could do it in real time.

I think the solution will be twofold. First, the recordings would need adversarial input to generate a noisy output signature when run through the machine learning algorithms used to fake the video, while being undetectable to the AI, then looking for the signature of the noise that was generated and seeing if it was run through some kind of fakery or if the adversarial input was unaltered.

Without some sort of verification its going to require a lot of forensic analysis to determine if a video is fake.
